Ilayda

Looking out the window and at the pack garden which is currently in chaos with wolves rushing around trying to prepare for the special day. Figures darting all over like ants trying not to get stomped on. I’m currently holed up in Cynthia’s new Luna room helping her get ready for her ceremony.  Kane is now finally old enough to be Alpha, our parents always joked about us being mates but we never felt anything more than a sibling like bond. A few years ago though, he found his Luna, my best friend. She has a heart of gold but an attitude to match and she's a looker. Her tan skin, brown eyes and chocolate brown hair with a body to kill Cynthia was a catch. Today was the day Kane would take over as Alpha and she would officially become the Luna. My aunt was able to create a potion that could change my eye color and hide my ears and horns. It would also be undetectable, so that only someone with very strong magic could sense that I had taken it. I've been drinking every day for safety.

“Ila!” I hear her shout. “You gonna keep staring at out in a daze or help me look beautiful”

Turning around and I smile at her. “You don’t need my help for that you, always look stunning. Come on let's get that dress on you.” Walking over, I help her slide into her custom made gown of her own design. It was stunning, the deep blue strapless gown hugged her body perfectly. It has a sheer corset in the middle and a slit right up so you could see her perfectly toned thigh. It trailed behind her and was studded with diamonds making it look like the night sky. Her eyes were painted with a smokey tint with her lips a deep red. Her long straight hair was styled in an updo to show off her exposed neck that carried his mark. I helped her lace up her strappy silver shoes and rotated her to the mirror. “So, what do you think?” smiling at her.

“Ila, it’s perfect. But it’s missing one thing,” She looked at me with a pleading look. “Can you sprinkle pixie dust on me? I know you’re worried but Pixie dust is sold in high ends stores if someone asks I’ll just say it was a gift for me special day, plus yours is the best.”

Pixie dust is something that is exclusive to Fae. It's a rare trait so not all of us can spin it but those who can usually sell it for a pretty penny. Just a sprinkle makes your entire body sparkle. Biting my lip looking at my best friend, the conflict whirls in my head. She’s not wrong mine had a special kind of glow to it and this is her most magical day. I can't ruin it for her.

"Do Ila, she deserves it." My wolf reassures in my head. She's sitting down with her head on her paws.

“Alright alright,” I relent and see her eyes light up as she squeals in delight.

“But first we need to get you ready Ila you aren’t even dressed yet!” she exclaims. Grabbing my dress from the rack, she yanks me to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup. “You know I prefer your natural eye color, this one just isn’t you” She frowns down at me.

Shrugging I remain silent and let her fuss over me until she’s finished, pulling me in front of the mirror I gasp at myself. The pale green aline dress fits like a glove, the sheer off the shoulder sleeves and 3d flowers and butterflies embroidered on it cascade down the skirt. Pulling up the skirt I see my shoes which are light purple and look like flowers trailing up my calves. My hair falls down in waves to my waist and she put just the right amount of makeup on me to give me that natural glow.

“You look lovely Ila, just like a woodland fairy.” she whispers in my ear.

Smiling at her I say, “ready for the final touch?” Feeling Soni running around in my mind she loves doing this. I rub my fingertips together and raise my hand above our heads before snapping my fingers as white pixie dust rains down over our heads. Cynthia squeals in delight and spins around as the sparkly powder coats our hair and dresses making them shine like diamonds.

“Thank you thank you thank you!” she gushes and grasps my hands. “Let’s head down, I think I’m already late to my own ceremony.”

The tears wouldn’t stop flowing as my best friends held me tightly. Everyone gave us a moment. Some space just be in each other's arms. They held onto me tightly, as if I would disappear as soon as they let go. After what felt like no time but all the time in the world at the same we untangled our limbs, sitting down on one of the logs surrounding the fire. They arranged the blankets around us to keep us warm against the biting cold. “How did you get out of there Lala?” Cyn finally asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence. “I jumped out a two story window and ran. Thankfully Az was in the surrounding area and I was able to make it far enough to get to him just as Dre’s wolves caught up to me. I climbed the trees to keep myself off the ground and had Iris move my scent away from where I truly was. Unfortunately four of them caught my scent and were on my tail the entire time. Az had his scent hidden also so we didn’t recognize each other at first. I bashed him in the nose wit

  • Mated to the Devil, becoming the fae Luna   Dre/Piper

I growled in frustration as I shoved Piper off of me. Not even blinking as her head struck the coffee table, blood pouring down her temple. I looked down at her crumbled passed out form on the ground and sneered. Her bright red hair fanned around her head in a flaming halo. Weak is what she was. She would never be strong enough to be my Luna and these past few days just reminded me of that. She’d been extra clingy, and while I normally didn’t mind her sexual favors, now was certainly not the time. Plus she had been trying to insert herself further into the Luna role now that Ilayda had run off. Probably thinking that now Ilayda was gone she could take her place. It made me sick.I still didn’t understand how she got away. One minute she was looking up at me with those gorgeous green eyes, thanking me for helping her, the next she was out the window. My talisman held tightly in her small grasp. Her willingness to open up more the past few days now made sense. I was hoping it was just h

Azreal let me sleep all morning. I don’t dream of anything for the first time since I was taken. Every night I was plagued with nightmares, but tonight it was just blissful darkness. When I finally awoke hours later Scar was out of the bed sitting at his desk, going over some documents. As soon as he heard me stir he was instantly at my side, climbing back into the bed and pulling me close. “Good evening beautiful,” he murmurs, wrapping his arms around me and nuzzling into the top of my head inhaling my scent, instantly relaxing. “Are you finally ready to see everyone? It’s about dinner time and I would love it if you could try to get some more food into your belly.” I snuggle into his chest and nod. I had pushed it off long enough and now that I was rested enough I needed to go out and greet everyone. I’m sure they were scared and worried sick and it wasn’t fair of me to keep them in the dark when they knew I was only a few feet away. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to see them, I just

I couldn’t see it yet but I could tell that we were almost to the camp, I could tell by the scents of a campfire and my family. A few minutes later we come up to a clearing and my eyes widen when I peak over his shoulder. What Scar said was a small campground, looked more like a small village. At least 30 tents of various sizes and shapes littered the clearing, a giant firepit roaring in the center. Guards patrolled the borders, some in wolf form and others still in their human ones. Eyes widening in surprise when they saw me, bowing their heads to us as we passed. It was still early enough that most pack members were in their tents, but just in case, Scar shadow steps into our tent to avoid being seen. I climb off his back and take a look at the space. It was a spacious room, a small fire lit in one corner, keeping the room warm from the cold, a soft looking rug and pillows surrounding it for people to sit at giving it a more cozy feel. An air mattress covered in soft blankets in th

I watch as Goerge takes off, running as fast as his wolf form could take him. His wolf form truly wasn’t that impressive. You would think he would look more powerful with all the talking he did of himself. How highly he spoke. A medium size scrawny looking thing and it gave me that feeling that most of the members of Dre’s pack were of similar power levels. Except for the ranked members. Dre didn’t like anyone shifting, and it was starting to make sense why. My eyes land on his three dead pack members in front of me. Blood was pooling below them, leaking out of the wounds that Scar’s shadows inflicted on them. You would think I would feel just a little sorry for the fate that befel them but I felt nothing but satisfaction. No sadness or happiness, they got what they deserved. I try not to shudder at the thought of what they wanted to do to me. After they made that comment any sort of compassion I once had vanished and they needed to die. For my own safety and for those of the innocent

  • Mated to the Devil, becoming the fae Luna   Azreal

I hold her tightly against me, afraid that if I let go even for a moment she would disappear again. My mate, my Luna was back in my arms. Back in her rightful place by my side. Dade was howling happily in my head at her touch. He still couldn’t communicate with Soni, but as long as we had Ilayda it meant that we could get his mate back. I blinked back tears, knowing that now wasn’t the time to break down. I still needed to get her home safely and back surrounded by members of our pack. We weren’t out of the woods yet and while I knew I could protect her, fighting against an army was not on my to do list. I needed to keep her as safe as I could. She was shaking, and I wasn’t sure if it was from the cold or emotion but I'm sure it was both based on what she was wearing. The black shirt and legging wouldn’t do nearly enough to keep her warm against the elements. It was freezing, the ground still covered in snow. Especially because I noticed she wasn’t wearing shoes and I didn’t need t
