Kate’s POV:

“What the f*ck did you do to her?” Deimon yelled, the intensity of his volume making me jump in my spot.

I was hyperventilating, seeing Monica’s blood continuously drip out of her hair. The ground below her was covered in blood while Deimon too was stained with her blood.

My legs were shaking as I was gripped by anxiety by the sight of the blood and the bruises that were covering her arms and face.

“I-I didn’t do it. I swear.” I cried out as sweat and tears covered my entire face. I wasn’t able to move from my spot as my body froze up.

I felt numb all over my body, making it extremely difficult for me to remain focused on what was going on.

“What is going on here? You guys have taken far too long.” Mr Cooper’s voice echoed into the cave, prompting both Deimon and I to shift our attention from Monica to it.

“Oh my god. What the hell happened here?” Mr Cooper raised his tone, out of concern when his vision caught sight of both Monica and Chris’ bodies.
