“No.” I breathed out immediately, “I’ll um prefer to surprise him today myself.”

I gave an assuring smile as she asked, “Are you sure?”

“Yeah, just prepare an outfit.”

She nodded heading to my closet to do as I asked while I was in deep thoughts of what happened the other day. I could feel nothing but guilt overwhelmed me after I said those things to her about not murdering my best friend. Technically, my birth mum did it in front of me and I didn’t do anything.
