They sat in silence as they all waited for the Alpha to speak. The silence was threatening. Everyone was up in their head thinking of what possible reason it could be to warrant the sudden meeting. Mr. Roberts wished the Alpha would be over with the meeting. He wished that he could be excused from the meeting but he was the beta. It would be considered treason if he tried to.
