Chapter Two Leila's POV I inhaled deeply as I stepped into my class. Time to be serious with my life. I groaned when I saw Mr. Roberts in class. Chapter Four Leila's POV Time flew by. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. The big birthday celebration we were all waiting for, was only a day away. I made sure we invited many people. It was going to be extravagant. Above all, I was scared of shifting. Kenny told me that it was like your bones bending in an abnormal direction. Chapter Five Leila's POV I didn't know how long I had ran or how far I had gone away from the safety of the pack. I stoped to catch my breath. Nothing will ever be the same again. I had lost everything. I was screwed. I felt my eyes wet. I touched my face it was wet with tears. I didn't know how long I had sat down crying but I cried till I was too weak to move any part of my body. Suddenly, I saw a shadow in front of me, before I could make out what it was or who it was, I heard a loud bang that sent a wiring signal to my brain. I raised my hand with so much difficulty to touch the side of my head I felt pain. I saw blood. I couldn't scream even if I wanted to. Chapter SixLeila's POVWaking up was a longer process than usual. I felt as if I had been hit brutally on my head. Wait that's what happened to me. With great difficulty, I watched the area I was in. Chapter seven Leila's POV His voice vibrated with so much authority, I almost went down on my knees. He was the Lycan King whose anonymous name spelts doom. I was truly going to die in the hands of the brutal Lycan King. The one who had wrecked many lives without any regret. His eyes wandererd to where I was. Chapter Eight Leila's POV I remember making the decision months ago to stay twenty miles away from the brutal Lycan King. He was a monster. One which if I set my eyes on in the dream, I was sure that I would end up dead. That decision was destroyed two minutes ago.
