Chapter thirty-two

I woke with Skylar's head resting near my stomach, like she was afraid to leave my side and she'd lose the feeling of the twins from the ritual. Samantha was cuddled at Skylar's back and I hear our door open. It was Eloise. Seeing her after the betrayal of my clan was relieving.

I break into relieved sobs, happy that the others weren't harmed while we were split between the communities. Skylar and Samantha both jolt awake and work at calming me down. They both didn't notice Eloise as I reach out to her. She clears her throat and that's when they noticed her in the doorway. "I'll let you get dressed and we can escape to the garden," Eloise says in a soothing tone and I nod vigorously.

Samantha and Skylar kiss my cheeks and I dress in a mix of their clothes to have their scents. I grab the ultrasound of the twins as leopards and head for the garden. I bump into Bethany and go in her welcoming arms. I feel her flow through the clan bond and welcome it, half shifting into my leopa
