Norman's POV

“We head to the Pack hall,” I told the driver immediately as I settled into the car.

The council of elders sent a notice for me to appear in the hall yesterday. I didn't know what they wanted to discuss, but I knew it had to be a serious issue.

My bet was on Riley—they’d probably want to remind me of the need to discard her. If that was indeed what they wanted to discuss, I'd really prefer to sip a hot drink even on a hot Tuesday afternoon. None of their words could convince me from going back on settling with Riley.

About fifteen minutes later, the car eased into the driveway of the large packing space of the pack hall. Glancing at my watch, I was right on time. The huge doors of the antiquated building were ajar. That could only mean one thing, the elders have already arrived.

“Hang around,” I turned to Adrian, “Chadwick would be here in a few minutes, I need to meet some investors after this meeting.”

“Yes Prince,” Adrian nodded, curtseying a little.

I walked in huge

  • Mated to the triplet alpha princes   Chapter 68

Riley's POV The morning after we arrived at HornSide was a complete swirl of exhaustion, lingering pain. My throat still ached, a reminder of Alpha Nate’s murderous grip. He had tried to kill me, the supposed ‘runt,’ and only Damon’s swift action, prompted by his silent authority, had saved me. And then, there Damon’s words, “To get you.” They had echoed in my mind all night, a soft, unsettling whisper that defied everything I knew about my place in the world. I had to conclude it was nothing serious, maybe he was joking. But there was no time to dwell. Right now, I had to attend the meeting. Karl had communicated the details to me in a text message. The meeting hall was a large, utilitarian room, dominated by a long, rough-hewn table. Maps and diagrams of the outlander territories, rough sketches of their bases, and notes from our recent infiltration were already spread across its surface. The air was thick with the scent of old wood, dust, and the sharp, anxious scent of many wolve

Riley's POV My throat burned. A searing, raw pain tore through me as I collapsed to my knees, gasping, sucking in ragged, desperate gulps of air. Each breath was a painful rasp, my lungs screaming for oxygen. My hands flew to my neck, massaging the bruised skin, trying to coax the air down. My vision, still dotted with dark spots from the lack of oxygen, slowly cleared. I coughed, a deep, rattling cough that shook my entire body. My eyes watered. The sheer shock of it, the cold, brutal reality of what had just happened, hit me with a force almost as powerful as Alpha Nate’s grip. He had choked me. He had tried to kill me. Right here, in the open, in front of everyone, or so it seemed. And nobody had seen it. Nobody had heard it. The thought sent a fresh wave of cold fury through me. As the air finally began to flow freely, and the dizzying sensation eased, I pushed myself up, my muscles still trembling. My gaze flickered to the man who just saved me. He stood rigidly, his back to m

Riley's POV “Alright, out we go,” Karl grunted, his voice weary but resolute. He helped me down, his grip firm and steady. Vinny, limping slightly but with a relieved grin, was already out, stretching his stiff limbs. Hardin, silent as ever, descended like a shadow, his eyes scanning the pack house. Zoey came to stand beside me, and Dr. Walker seemed to be busy gathering his medical supplies. The rest of the band were also out of their various trucks. I took a deep breath of the fresh, cool air, letting the familiar scents of HornSide wash over me. A wave of profound relief flushed through me, a feeling so strong it almost brought me to my knees. But the moment of calm was fleeting. My mind, still a little foggy, sharpened. This wasn't just about survival; it was about presentation. I had played a crucial part in the outlanders camp a night before. I couldn’t afford to look weak, not now. I straightened my shoulders, trying to project the confidence of a warrior who had just emerge

Riley's POV My eyes fluttered open, struggling against a heavy weight that seemed to press down on my eyelids. My head swam, a thick fog coating my brain. The world was a blur of muted colors and indistinct shapes, swaying gently. A rough vibration hummed beneath me, a constant, low thrum that spoke of movement. The air was cool, smelling faintly of old canvas and something metallic, like stale oil. Where am I? What happened?Panic flared, sharp and cold, instantly clearing some of the haze. My wolf felt muted, dazed, but instinct was still there, a frantic whisper of Danger! My muscles tensed. I felt the resistance of bodies on either side, holding me, restraining me. My elbows jabbed out, my feet kicked, a choked sound escaping my throat. They had me. The outlanders. I was captured. The thought was a hot coal, burning through my exhaustion. I struggled harder, a wild, thrashing attempt to break free.“Easy, Riley. Easy now. You’re safe.”The voice. Deep and familiar, it cut through

Riley's POV The heavy, alien helmet felt strange on my head, pressing down on my ears, muffling the sounds of the bustling camp just slightly. My heart hammered against my ribs, a continuous pounding against the stolen outlander uniform. Every instinct screamed to run, to shed this disguise and jet away, but I forced myself to stand tall, to project an air of calm I was far from feeling. This was it. No turning back now.We stood just outside the cluster of tents and makeshift structures, the air thick with the metallic tang of their technology and a faint, acrid smell I couldn't quite place. Karl, and the other three warriors, now similarly disguised, looked like distorted versions of themselves. The helmets seem to be a blessing. It help hide the fear within—at least I can say that for myself.“Alright, Riley,” Karl’s voice was low, almost a rumble from within his helmet. He didn't look at me directly, instead gazing out at the chaotic activity of the camp. “Just walk. One foot in

  • Mated to the triplet alpha princes   Chapter 63

Riley's POVThe cold night air bit at my exposed skin, but the chill that ran through me wasn't from the weather. It was the thrill of the hunt, the sharp edge of danger that always accompanied a mission like this. Karl’s voice, low and gravelly, cut through the quiet, giving his final instructions.“Hardin, Dr. Walker, Zoey, the rest of you – stay back,” he commanded, his gaze sweeping over the assembled group. “Do not engage. Do not reveal yourselves unless I give the order. Your role is support, a fallback. Understand?”A chorus of murmured agreements followed. I watched Hardin nod, his face a mask of grim determination. Dr. Walker adjusted his spectacles, his medical kit clanking softly. Zoey, usually so vibrant, was subdued, her eyes wide with a mix of fear and admiration. It was a stark reminder of the gravity of our situation. We were walking into a viper’s nest, and they were the last line of defense. My stomach churned with a mixture of fear and pride. This was it. The real t
