Chapter twelve

Thirty minutes later, the bell was ringing for the end of class. I turned around in my seat to meet face to face with Alessia. She was in the process of hanging her bag on her shoulder.

"Hey" she said, a small smile forming on her lips.

"Hi" I smiled back.

"So we meet again" she said.

I could hear her heart beat wildly and oddly enough, it drove me on edge.

"I had a feeling we were gonna be seeing more often" I replied and she smiled. How does she always do that thing with her lips?

"Hi" the girl seated beside her said, her hand extended across the table to me "I'm Ashley Peters, Alessia's friend"

"Yeah, hi," I took her hand "it's nice to meet you"

Shaking her hands, I could feel almost everything about her. She's a really timid person, a brainiac, a super nice and completely sweet person who has little confidence in herself.

"Waw," she chuckled as she pulls her hand away "that's some really warm hands you got there"

"Thanks. I.....ah...I'm a really warm person" I replied, concerned
