BONUS CHAP. 32 - HER CLAIM

-CLEO’S POV-

As the tunnel ground quivered from the explosion, hysterical screams filled the air. The omegas panicked and hugged each other.

My body swayed like a surfer trying to keep from tumbling over. A gas line had obviously cracked and permeated the tunnel. Dirt particles rained down on us, creating clouds of dust. Only a few grey bricks fell out of place.

Were they going to fry us like chicken tenders?

The gas odor was so strong that the slightest spark could bake the entire underground channels.

The shaking ceased. Every head turned to look at me.

"Check the person next to you and ensure that they are okay. Let me know if anyone is hurt." I ordered.

We had to leave the tunnels and at the same time plan for battle.

I helped the young blonde to stand on her feet. The bleeding on her forehead halted, slowly healing.

I scanned the open space. "We need to move out. There's a gas leak and we don't know what they're planning."
