Hello readers, I appreciate your gems. It shows me that you really enjoy my work. Thank you.
***Sianna’s POV*** My blood was ablaze and I was ready to kill. It’s not that Gail was his ex, but it was her act of trying to use her sex appeal to sway some compassion from Vance. Then, when I gripped her to teach her a lesson, he held me back and Duke took her ten feet away from me. Does he still love this woman? “Are you trying to kill me because I’m his ex-girlfriend, Luna?” Gail spat out contemptuously, Duke held one of her arms behind her back tightly. Even though he made sure to apply ample pressure to cause her pain, she still found the gall to mock me. “Then you might as well kill Esme too. She fucked him up to the day before he met you!” All this time Helios was trying to tell his daughter to shut her mouth. This one was obviously one of the spoilt ones. “Gail, shut the fuck up.” Duke with the palm heel of his hand, pulled her up and stroked her just below her chin, snapping her head back and knocking her out. “That’s enough out of you!” This was sufficient to convict h
***Vance’s POV*** As soon as Sianna fell into a deep slumber, I slowly rolled her off me without waking her. I figured that she would be washed with fatigue from the traveling of yesterday. I took one of my shirts and rested it above her head so that the scent of me would imply that I was there with her, comforting both her and her wolf. Containing my wrath was impossible. My wolf was hell-bent on killing Curtis. I wanted to rip his throat out the minute Sianna revealed his traitorous actions. He obviously did not intercept the message that I had visibly sent that Sianna was MINE! It was now my prerogative to make him suffer, to make him wish his mother had locked her legs and refused to push him out for him to be born. Blayne had gotten Curtis in the dungeon when I commanded him through the mind-link. I put on black jeans and a tight-fitting black t-shirt and headed there. Black clothes handled blood better. I started my jeep and drove the short ride. No time was wasted greeting
Sianna’s POV Bursting into the pack house, I was like a mad woman going to war. Throwing the office door open to meet Vance in a meeting with Duke and Blayne. Both men raised eyebrows at me, but ignoring them, I walked in looking Vance in the face, trying to read the expression on his face. The impassiveness of his nature was sometimes annoying to me, but it worked for him as an autocratic figure. Around 10 a.m., the sun had already begun to illuminate the sky with its brilliant yellow rays when I woke up. When I noticed that Vance wasn't at home, I assumed that he would be blaming Curtis for what he had done. Moreover, the worried phone call sent my alarm gauge higher. In an effort to stop him, I hurriedly showered, drank some orange juice, and came over here, but it seemed that he had already performed his heinous act. He sat there, cool as ever. When he blinked up at me from his desk, he smiled silkily, "Hi sweetheart." I rolled my eyes, giving him daggers, and slammed at him th
UNKNOWN POV Sianna walked through the café doors. The guy behind the counter greeted her enthusiastically. I snickered in disgust at the way she carried on as if she was miss freaking universe. I could hear all that they were saying. I ate my fudge and bit into my donut pretending to be an idle customer. I started coming here after I heard about her being our next Luna. The owner told me that she had quit working here and transitioned back to the clinic where her mother worked especially with the baby coming. That’s because they know me. First, it was Curtis that she stole, and after I managed to get into the Alpha’s bed, here she came stealing another man away from me. The hatred that I have been hoarding for that bitch cannot be explained. She was one of those high and mighty, popular and model-like females who believe they own everything. It irritates me to no end when she acts so innocent. That fucking man-stealing whore! On another note, I can’t believe that the idiot failed
*SIANNA'S POV* It’s been a while since I saw Tara. I had to go back to the clinic because being under my mom’s supervision made Vance feel better about my health and safety. Curtis was still in his coma at the Crimson Hyde Pack and I meant what I said about cutting ties with him. Entrusting his mate to take care of him is what’s in the best interest of everyone. He will miss being an elite, but I am sure that my brother-in-law will find a suitable position for him in the pack. Lately, Vance has been introducing me into his line of business and I’ve helped with international meetings by hosting them online. He promised that after the baby is born and I could manage to travel, he would take me to visit some of the companies and get to know his executives. But for now, I should focus on myself and the baby. The pack house was being operated smoothly and Keisha and I have been trying hard to help Blayne with Cleopatra. He’s not the same Blayne that I was used to. He is so cute when he
*BLAYNE’S POV* “Gamma Blayne, we have a rogue child by the west border. She’s feral and demanding to get through.” Warrior Thatcher mind-linked. “Seize her. I am on my way.” I was at the training grounds with my elites and warriors as they practice new sparing methods to improve their defenses. “I have to take care of something. Continue until I return. Wade is in charge.” I shifted into my coffee brown wolf and ran to the Grayline Patrol Station at the west border. It took me ten minutes to get there. Rogues showed up all the time but they know better than to misbehave. Our patrol warriors knew that any resistance to abide by the rules for entrance is immediate termination. Because not all rogues are good or sane. Warrior Thatcher would rather avoid my fury by having me make the decision regarding the child than risk it. Since this was a child, I was hoping that she was not one of those rogues that I would have to eradicate. Killing children is not something that I do, unless und
*SIANNA’S POV* The red on his face showed that he was steaming to blow. The heat of Cleo's words was bouncing around like vapor molecules in the chamber of his head, and the steaming gas blustered from his ears. There was nothing cool about Blayne. He was the most hot-headed one out of the three most powerful men in our pack. Blayne was the one that always wanted a fight and never backed down. Once he was riled up, he influenced Vance and Duke in quickening their tempers too. Cleo had a strong personality, was blunt, and spoke from the heart. Once she stood for something, that stance was rigid. I admired her character. In my perception, she could keep Blayne in line and calm him down. If they could ever get along, she would be a good fit for Blayne. The divine scent of pumpkin mixed with pine trees hit my nose, my wolf wagged her tail in my head and I turned to see Vance entering the café. I was ecstatic to see him with the impulse to run into his arms. My wolf purred and cooed, tu
*SIANNA’S POV* “Hailey, what’s wrong?” Every cell in my body alerted me at the sight of her sobbing, and I became protective because I wanted to know who had meddled with her. She flew herself at me, throwing her arms around me so that I staggered backward slightly to catch her. Her swift movement had alarmed Vance, but he retreated from tossing her from me when I stopped him with my palm. Hailey continued to sob and I held her there for a minute. Vance took out the house keys and turned the lock, opening the door to call us in. We walked slowly up four steps to the porch, through the foyer, and sat on the couch. Then he picked up her bag from the porch and came in behind us. “Honey, what’s wrong?” I repeated. Vance went to the guestroom and came back with a box of tissues, handing it to me to dry her tears. She took it and wiped her face through hitched sobs. Her eyes found mine. I looked at Vance for him to leave us to ourselves and he exited the room, going to his study, g
