Two weeks passed quickly and it was time for Adam to leave. I wanted our goodbyes private so we did them at his house.

“It will pass quickly. You'll see.” Adam assures me.

“I know. Safe travels!” I reply.

“I love you!” He replies.

“And I love you!” I reply.

After he left, I took a long hot shower and cried. It hurt so bad to say goodbye. I don't know why. It's only temporary. I’m being so needy. What's wrong with me?!
