I felt pretty damn good about myself when I left Quinn’s room. I was bred to possess every wolf talent, but I rarely used my healing abilities - they tended to be slapdash at best, and if I wasn’t completely focused on the task, and a hundred percent committed to it, I could just as easily kill someone as heal them.

True healers were rare and usually loyal only to their packs and their Alphas. Most wolves, especially rogues, had to rely on physicians like Doctor Jacobs.

I had hoped that there was some kind of human operation that would help Quinn so I wouldn’t have to call in a favour to an Alpha with a pack healer. If she was right though, and it looked as if she was, human medicine couldn’t help her, and a good, true healer was her only chance.
