Chapter 18: Getting A Strange Feeling

From the moment he got here, I had this strange feeling as if he was hiding something from me. At first it was just the look in his eyes, but then he received a call from someone and took it into my library. I thought it was a little odd the way he hushed me and then shut the door to the adjoining room before he continued his conversation.

The whole time I find myself wondering if it isn’t one of his exes or something on that line. But one thing keeps eating away at me as I start to label all the boxes. “Why does he feel like he has to hide this from me?” I murmur under my breath and then look down to see that I had managed to slit my finger open with the scissors.
