Rowan
I was bored and wanted to be anywhere but the theatre, interviewing a bunch of crazy fan girls.Yeah, William said he wouldn't reveal who the employer was until I was ready to pick someone, but yet, it was Vee Theatre, they knew it was only the best of the best movie stars that would be holding interviews.I would have easily had William handle the interview himself and pick the most qualified person, but he reminded me that I also selected my employees based on looks. Which was absolutely correct. I was stunning, I wanted only beautiful people around me. So, I had to select someone myself.Ralph was waiting for me at the theatre, so even though I didn't have to be there until William texted me that it was time to make a choice, I had to be at the theatre early.I got to the theatre and was making my way to my luxury suite where Ralph was waiting, while I was on my phone texting my girlfriend, Raven.I was just passing the main stage, pretty sure my path was clear when all of a sudden, a blonde girl fell out of nowhere, spilling water in my face.To say I was pissed was an understatement. I was furious. And then she just stared at me with those heated hazel eyes. She was pretty, I'll give her that. What her weird cheap clothes lacked, her face made up for it. What I especially liked about her was her full lips that looked inviting, asking for a kiss. But who cared about her face? She was clearly empty Inbetween her ears.Who spills water on someone — and might I add, someone's expensive clothes — but didn't bother to offer an apology. It was until I asked for one that she pretended to be remorseful and search for a handkerchief in her ridiculously big bag. Who even needs such a large bag? Unless they were transporting a house in it, it was unnecessary.I walked away from her, pissed.Someone like her as someone assistant? She was sure to put whatever unfortunate person who hired her in a whole of trouble.I didn't even want to know if she did well on the interview or if she had assisted a president before, she was not going to work for me.I angrily walked into my luxury suite, Ralph was perched on one of the couches, a brunette babe under his arm, locking lips with him."Come on, man. I told you, no bitches allowed in here." I complained as I made my way to the bathroom, in search of a towel to dry myself.By the time I returned, the brunette was gone."Sorry." Ralph said with a cocky grin. "I met her at the entrance. She said she was here for an interview, but then she refused to leave my side. You know how the women love me."I rolled my eyes, angrily drying my hair with the towel."What happened to you? Someone pulled a prank on you?" He asked."As if!" I spat. "It was a crazy psycho moron that spilled water on me.""Ooh, I see. But what are you so riled up about? You should have put her in her place immediately."I scoffed, going over to sit next to him. "What's the use? She's just a dumb bitch.""Is she pretty though?"I thought about it for a moment. She didn't have class, but she was pretty."Yeah. Kinda. She's probably poor."Ralph got interested, giving me a sly smile."Then she's here for the interview too?""I doubt she's an actress, so that should be the right assumption.""A pretty poor dumb psycho bitch. Damn! That's the rarest and most fantastic combination." He had his scheming smile on his lips. I knew he was plotting something in his head."It's about that time of the year I spent your money." He said. I knew what was coming already. "Let's make a bet. If you can fuck her before three months run out, I'll give you my yacht. If not, I get your jet."Typical Ralph. He'd been trying to get me to sell my private jet to him for over year and half now. We had placed several bets already and I won them each time. This one was so easy, it made me laugh."Now you're just being desperate, man." I said. "You know I can get a girl like her with a snap of my fingers."Now it was his turn to laugh, for no reason I could see."I think you miss the point. If they're pretty and dumb, easy pussy. If they're poor and dumb, still easy. Not when they are psycho, poor and pretty. I don't even need to meet her to know she's the real deal, your mood alone is enough proof."Huh?"You're saying she'd play hard to get?" I asked. He shook his head. "I'm saying she would be very hard to get. I can bet you a hundred grand right now that she hates you already. She probably won't even want to work for you."I chuckled. "You're kidding. I'm the Rowan Ace, anyone would be thrilled to be in the same room as me.""Not our PPP, pretty poor psycho."Nah, he had to be bluffing, wanted me to think it was hard. Well, I knew I had that in the bag already. Plus, his yacht was worth over six million dollars. I get to prove that I could fuck anyone I wanted and at the same time own his sweet yacht."I'm in." I said and we shook on it.I spent a little more time with him before William texted me, letting me know it was time.I didn't even need to give her the job to get some alone time with her, I just had to take her out, throw a few loose change in her face and she'd be spreading those legs wide open.I got to the interview room and waited until William introduced me. The women were already going wild before I could step into the waiting room.I scanned the room with my eyes, psycho was nowhere in sight. I frowned, thinking she already left. But then one random bimbo moved out of the way and I saw her, staring down at her shoes awkwardly. She was clearly shy.Yup! I got this.Amelia"Yes, you."My heart did a somersault in my chest. Was he really talking to me? His eyes were focused on me and he had on a sly smile. No, it had to be someone else.I turned to look behind me, everyone's eyes were focused on me."Hey, blondie." He called and I froze. "You in the shirt." Now I was sure he was talking to me.I slowly looked back at him. What did he want? To make fun of me for pouring water on a celebrity? To make fun of my clothes? What?!"Come here." He ordered.I frowned. I was not his slave, he had no right commanding me like one.I didn't move.Someone pushed me from behind and I went stumbling to his feet and would have fallen flat on my face, but someone caught me, breaking my fall.I looked up, expecting to see Rowan, but it was the good looking interviewer. He was frowning slightly. I wondered if he ever smiled."You can stand on your own, can't you?" He asked with that look of disgust again. Why? Because he was touching me? Was I covered in filth or som
RowanI wasn't wrong about the dumb part. She knew I was talking to her. I mean, I was looking directly at her, but she chose to search behind her instead. And then she just tripped over her own foot and nearly fell on her face. She wasn't just dumb, she was a weirdo.I was rethinking agreeing to fuck her, she was not so appealing anymore. It would have been okay if she was just a poor girl with good looks. But if the lights were off upstairs, it'd just be so wrong to touch her. But, I wasn't about to lose that bet. It was just a one time thing, anyway. When I asked for her name, she replied with such a cold glare. I was intimidated for a second. Damn! She had a killer glare. It was almost like her hazel eyes lit up dangerously when narrowed.I hid it well though, and told William to get her ready before walking away. It was only when I was back in the luxury suite that I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding."What's up? Are we good to go?" I looked at Ralph at his positio
AmeliaI thought I was done for. I thought Rowan would scream my head off, and fire me on the spot. But he just left me there with the elderly fashionable woman and William. The woman made me sit in front of the dressing table while she picked up different makeup kits and set them on the table in front of me."I haven't seen a blonde with such pretty hazel eyes before. They are usually blue or grey or green." She said as she cleaned my face with wipes. "Who do you look like?""You mean between my parents?" I asked. It was a little hard to follow what she said because of her accent."Yeah.""My mom. She has blue eyes though." "Ah, then you got your eyes from you dad? He must be very handsome."I smiled awkwardly, not sure what to say to that."Keep a straight face, you'll ruin my work if you move too much." She said and I swallowed.I wasn't really a fan of makeup. The two other times I had worn makeup was at prom and at college graduation. Mom practically forced me to sit through the
Rowan"Listen up." I said to her from the backseat. "I'm meeting with my manager, we have something important to discuss. All I need from you is to jot down our conversation. Got that?""Everything?!" She asked, turning in her seat to look at me. "You mean record your entire conversation? Isn't that a job for a secretary?""Well, congratulations. You're now my personal assistant. You get to be my secretary, my cook, my nanny, my maid... Basically, whatever I say you are."The look of horror on her face was so satisfying. I smirked.I waited for her to protest or quit, but she quietly turned to face her front.Good. At least she was being obedient."We haven't properly gone over the details of this job." I heard her say. "I have my conditions for working for you, and...""And what conditions are they?" I asked. "You know what? Forget it. I'll have William give you a contract with all the details. That is, if you can actually manage to handle your first task properly."No words passed be
AmeliaI barely caught the last bus heading home. I just couldn't believe that ungrateful jerk. I was so pissed, I kept fuming all the way home. What gave him the right to yell at me? He couldn't even ask first? So what if I worked for him? That didn't make me his slave that he could shout at anywhere and anytime he wanted. What was that he said again? That as long as I was working for him, I would be whatever he asked me to?I may need a job but that didn't mean I had to lose my dignity. Even as his employee, he had to treat me with respect. Maybe he was used to treating others however he wanted, but not me. If I made a decision to work for him, then I'd have to make him understand that I was nothing like others.I wanted to quit, I wanted to quit right there! I already stormed off, clearly he wouldn't send me the contract anymore. Not after how I walked away.Well, good riddance to bad rubbish.I could apply for a job somewhere else. Who cares if it might take another two years to ge
Amelia"Okay, I'll sign it." I asked for his pen, squatted on one knee and signed it immediately.I stood straight and gave the contract back to him."Amy? Is everything okay?" Mom called as she opened the door of the restaurant, coming out. She had a worried expression on her face as she looked from William to me and back."Mom, It's fine. This is William. He's..." I trailed off. What exactly was he? The interviewer? Rowan's lawyer? Friend? He couldn't be the manager because that had to be the man back at the other diner."I'm Amelia's co-worker." He said, giving mom a nod. Was that his way of greeting? "I brought a contract for her to sign."Mom's face lit up."Co-worker? She still has her job?" She asked excitedly. William nodded again. "Oh, thank you so much. Why don't you come in and we'll serve you lunch? It'll be my treat."William took a look at the diner before shaking his head."I can't. You have a full house already. I just came to have this signed and..."He got interrupted
RowanI couldn't decide if Amelia was disaster-prone or just plain stupid. Who walks into someone's bedroom without knocking first? And then she had to interrupt us with that loud crash. Just when it was getting good."I'm sorry." She said quickly, bending to pick up the broken glasses. She had barely touched them when she snatched her fingers back immediately. I saw blood trickle out of her index finger.Raven scoffed next to me, straightening her clothes."Since when do you hire foolish maids?" She asked me, loud enough for Amelia to hear."She's not really my...""I'm sorry. I'll get it cleaned right away." Amelia said, interrupting me.She reached for the broken glasses again, but hissed when they pricked another finger."For fuck's sake!" I snapped. "Just go get a maid to clean it up. And you, get lost."She got up and ran away. I didn't feel bad for yelling. She wasn't a little kid. I mean, who pricks their fingers on broken glass twice in a row?"Sorry, baby, but I've lost my mo
RowanThe pain was so bad, I had to double-check that my eye was still in its socket."Oh my God, Rowan! I'm so sorry." She got off the floor and tried touching me but I slapped her hands away."What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I yelled at her. "Are you trying to blind me?""I tripped. I didn't know it would fly out of my hands and land in your eye.""Just like the first time? When you also tripped and didn't know it would splash all over me? Or the times after that when you dropped the tray and broke the lamp? I should be charging you for damages.""No. I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't...""Get out of my way." I pushed past her and headed back into the house, making my way to the kitchen."Good morning, Mr. Ace. Your breakfast...""Get me an ice bag." I said curtly to the cook and she scrambled to get it.I sat on a stool, covering the eye with my palm while I waited for the ice bag."Rowan, I'm really sorry." Just hearing Amelia's voice was annoying enough.I turned to her."You don't ge
