one-sided contract

I barely caught the last bus heading home. I just couldn't believe that ungrateful jerk. I was so pissed, I kept fuming all the way home. What gave him the right to yell at me? He couldn't even ask first?

So what if I worked for him? That didn't make me his slave that he could shout at anywhere and anytime he wanted.

What was that he said again? That as long as I was working for him, I would be whatever he asked me to?

I may need a job but that didn't mean I had to lose my dignity. Even as his employee, he had to treat me with respect. Maybe he was used to treating others however he wanted, but not me. If I made a decision to work for him, then I'd have to make him understand that I was nothing like others.

I wanted to quit, I wanted to quit right there! I already stormed off, clearly he wouldn't send me the contract anymore. Not after how I walked away.

Well, good riddance to bad rubbish.
