Almighty Mike:

A lot of time had passed since Angel officially became mine and I wasn't going to deny the fact that I've been the happiest all those months; she'd healed almost completely, she didn't look at me with disdain and judgment in her eyes anymore or scoff when I talked to her about the operations of the Archangels, she was the most beautiful, sweetest, most independent, funniest, smartest, most responsible woman I'd ever loved and more. Our relationship, in itself, has been one exhilarating hell of a roller coaster ride, but I wouldn't have it any other way. 

However, I felt like there was about to be a big bump in that ride of ours, I could tell from the way she icily brushed off my offer to drive her home, from the look of betrayal she stoned at me when word came out that I'd been training her nephew how to use a gun without her consent, I could tell from the way she stormed off when I reminded that she wasn't indeed her wards' mother
