Mrs. Clea quickly snatched me up, went to my room, and shut the door. Yna and Gina were left outside while Mrs. Clea was tense inside our room. "Don't you know how dangerous what you did was, Amara?" Mrs. Clea’s voice was angry. I bit my bottom lip because I knew Mrs. Clea was right. I consider myself fortunate to be alive. Because it's wrong no matter which way you look at it.

"I'm sorry," I admitted regretfully. I overheard her sighing incongruously. "The last thing Vikki wants you to do, Amara, is get involved with the Alpha King because you know how dangerous he is!"
