BLAIR'S POV

Oh my goodness!

That was so close.

I had no idea Raymond would be home before me.

Gosh!

If I hadn't gone to the hospital, the doctor would have told him I didn't go there.

Alicia saved me today.

She was the one who insisted I go to the hospital to see the doctor so we would escape Raymond's wrath.

Sighs.

This is getting so scary.

Should I just inform Raymond of where I go when I leave the house?

This is the second time already, and he always found out I went out.

He doesn't even seem like he believes I went to the hospital.

What if he makes someone spy on me?

“Alicia, come here."

I waved my fingers to her as soon as she opened the door to my room.

“Do you think it will be better if I inform Raymond about the company?"

“But, ma'am, Mr. Raymond doesn't want you to work there because of this family, and also because you are carrying his child. Don't you think he'll be upset with you when you tell him?”

Yes, that's correct.

But what if he finds out later on? He'll still

RAYMOND'S POVIf I hadn't trashed the weakened flowers I intended to give Blair today at the company, I would have thought it was the one I was holding.Blair knows who sent these flowers, but she's pretending as if she doesn't know. There's no way anyone could have brought this into this house for Blair If she and the person didn't have anything between them. And look, there's a handwritten letter directed to her. It's all love messages, telling her how much he missed her, and how much he wanted another kiss from her. Did they even kiss? When was it?These days? The kiss was today? What!Didn't she tell me she went to see the doctor? Is Blair trying to play with my mind because she now knows I love her too?“How could you, Blair?" She stepped closer, looking so confused. “How could what, Ray? I have no idea what you are talking about." She sighs. “I swear, I don't know where this came from, I don't even know who could have sent it." Should I believe her? She looks so innocent

Whoa!I didn't even think about that. Cassie is the number one person that would try this shit with me. I won't be surprised if she was the one that sent this over just so Raymond and I would have a misunderstanding.“You are absolutely correct, Alicia. Cassie has a hand in this." “What are you going to do now, ma'am?"“I'll go meet her."I picked up my phone and dialed Cassie's number. I'm not even scared of her anymore. I don't care if she'll do anything to me out there or not, all I want from her is the truth. She must confess to doing this and I'll record her voice. I know Cassie won't deny if she was the one that sent it over, she always says whatever she does to me to my face. “Where are you?" I asked her, gesturing to Alicia to pick up the basket. “What's the big surprise, sis?"I hate her annoying voice. “Just tell me where you are and I'll be there."“Wow! Sounds like we'll be having fun today." Cassie chuckled softly. “Uptown,"Uptown? What took her there? She do

“Ma'am?"Alicia called again with a shaky voice. I ignored her, thinking she was going to ask another question or say something that Cassie was hiding things from me. I am done talking about Cassie; I just want to focus on one thing: how to make Raymond understand the person who sent the gift is trying to ruin our relationship. “Ma'am?"Alicia called again, this time, she tapped my arm. I turned to her direction, trying not to get angry at her. “Look over there." She pointed to our right, where other cars were parked, too, because of traffic. What could she have seen that'll make her that scared? I followed her finger, and there, inside a black jeep, was Raymond. He wasn't alone in the car, someone was there with him. That person can't be a guy, Raymond is doing the driving by himself. So he left the house?I didn't even know that. I thought he was in his study room or rather, Grandpa George's apartment. And who is that sitting in the passenger seat? It's a lady. “Alicia,

Was that what she was telling him inside the car? He doesn't even care that Cassie was talking to me that way.Raymond opened the door for Cassie and she entered the car, giving me a mocking look. Then he proceeded to the driver's side and sped off from there, leaving me in the street. I was frozen, shocked that Raymond could do that to me. “Ma'am?"I took in a deep breath and then returned to the car. Raymond doesn't care about my feelings anymore. He thinks everything is happening because of me. He now believes I have another guy in my life who is not him.I can't take it any longer. If he won't listen to me now, who knows what will happen in the future? He can come get his child in the future, but for now, I'd rather leave him than see him with Cassie every day. “Give me my phone." Alicia reached for the phone inside the bag and handed it over to me. I dialed my P. A number, put it on speaker and placed the phone on my thigh while holding the steering wheel with both of m

BLAIR'S POVCassie stormed out of the house, slamming the door very hard.I thought she was here to console me, but no, she came to add to my pain. But is what she said the truth?Perhaps she could have said that because she wouldn't be able to sell the mansion as she had planned to.Who am I kidding?I can lose the company and every other thing Grandpa put in my name. I don't have the documents again. But wait, if I go there now, I might find them. Maybe they aren't completely burned. I picked up my phone from the dining table and hurried out of the house. “Give me the car keys."I took the keys from the driver and sped out of the house. If I can reach there before Cassie, I will be able to retrieve them before she can. I remember seeing all of that in an iron box Grandpa cherished a lot. Luckily, the interrogation wasn't as terrible as the officer made it look.Maybe it was because Jeff scared him off at the hospital. And none of them talked about sending me to court; they all behaved so well, unlike the way they treated me before Jeff arrived at the hospital. “Can we go now?"Jeff asked the officer in charge; the guy looked so scary.Outside, I sat on a bench, waiting for Jeff and my P.
