MERCY

Unfolding the wrinkled paper, reading it for the hundredth time, tears burning my flesh, the warm liquid gushing down my cheeks. This is how I have been living my life since  I came back from the hospital, to an empty apartment, Grace handed me a letter and left without a word, my entire world turned into shambles and it's all my fault.
