Mustepha had two sons and a daughter. The two brothers adored their sister who was like an angel in their life. Mustepha named her Rosie and certainly she was a light in their house. Years went on as children grew up. Demir, the eldest son joined business with his father while Murat, the younger one became a doctor. Rosie was still in college. As Murat worked in the New York, he got her admission in one of the biggest colleges of the city. Rosie being the genius child of the house, aced in her studies. But one day brought bad luck for them.

Murat just came to pick up Rosie from college and waited for her outside. Minutes turned into hours as Rosie didn’t come out. He was worried for Rosie as he asked guard about it. Guard was unknown about the whole situation as he couldn’t recognize girls easily among the crowd. Murat searched the college but couldn’t find her. He checked the cctv and nothing was in it too. All the recordings were distorted or completely destroyed.

Murat blamed himself for not protecting his sister as she was his responsibility. He searched everywhere and filed a report with the police. It was important to call at home and tell them about the situation. Mustepha was devastated on hearing the news and felt a strong pain in his chest as he thought about what his daughter must be going through. He fell unconscious as Demir picked him up and took him to the hospital. Mustepha had a major heart attack.  But fortunately, his life was saved as they quickly came to the hospital. When he gained consciousness, he started crying loudly.

“Demir, Murat, somebody bring me my Rosie back. I cannot live without her. What will I tell Sarah that I wasn’t able to protect her daughter? What must my daughter be going through? Please God have some mercy on us.”

Mustepha cried as Demir felt helpless. He was also worried for his sister who was the gem of his eyes, without whom he couldn’t even imagine living.

“Dad we will find her. I will not leave anything untouched until I find her. I promise.”

Demir consoled his father. But who can win against the games of fate? Both brothers searched everywhere and used every source but they didn’t know that their Sarah had gone far away from them into another world of cruelty.

Present:

“Burak get up now. You have a meeting today and if you will not wake up now then you will shout at everyone for your own laziness.”

Amina pushed the curtains aside and came forward to pull the comforter off of Burak as he stirred in his sleep. Amina kissed the forehead of her handsome son and she sat beside him. Burak opened his eyes and laid his head in his mother’s lap. He hugged her stomach and sighed.

“Get up now. You have to drop Zoey to college as your dad has already gone and driver has not come today.

Burak groaned. And sat up straight.

“She always has work with me all the time and doesn’t even has peace in the morning.”

Burak said playfully as Amina slapped his head.

“Stop saying such things for my princess and come quickly for breakfast. You know your grandfather doesn’t like late comers.”

Amina got up and left. Burak stood up and picked his clothes as he entered the dressing room. After showering and changing his clothes, he stood up in front of the mirror and brushed his hair. Burak was a handsome man in his twenties having tanned skin and built body. Towering with a height of 6 feet, he had attractive black eyes which carried hardness in them. His silky black hair usually laid on his forehead carelessly. He examined himself and ran downstairs. As he entered the dining room, he saw everyone gathered together. His grandfather was sitting on the head chair with his uncle sitting beside him. His aunt and mother were in kitchen preparing breakfast. He big good morning and sat on his chair. As soon as he sat, his cousin came running and slumped beside him.

“What happened to you Ahmet?” His uncle asked.

“Zoey happened, dad. She is such an irritating brat.” Ahmet huffed in annoyance as everyone smiled.

Zoey was Ahmet’s sister and apple of everyone’s eyes. Burak pampered her like a baby and no one could believe that Burak who was a cruel business man to the world could be this playful around her. He would tease her but didn’t allow anyone else to say even a word to her.

Just then Zoey came as she hugged his grandfather and glared Ahmet.

“Grandpa, he stole my chocolates again and now he is not even accepting it. I swear I am going to kill him.”

She made an innocent face while Ahmet felt as his breath was knocked out as he observed everyone’s gaze on him. She smirked as her baba scolded Ahmet. Ahmet was a university student while Zoey was in college but still, they bickered like they were young kids.

“Ok, I am sorry. I wouldn’t do it again and even return the chocolates.” Ahmet said with an annoyed expression as Zoey smiled.

“That would be the best for you.” Zoey held her head high and sat beside her dad.

After breakfast everyone left for their respective work. Only Mustepha kept seated as he remembered his daughter. A lone tear escaped his eyes. All the years of wait had only got him weaker. Now only his grandchildren were the only hope in life.
