Chapter 3

AFTER Ally and Eldrith's wedding, everyone immediately went to the reception. Ally's wedding had a lot of good things because it was well organized. It was well organized and obviously someone very good managed it. “Attention everyone.” The MC said making them all look at the front. The newly married activities are over, like cutting the cake, the kiss part, giving wishes and gifts, now it is time to eat.

“The newlyweds would like to say something.” Everyone applauded because of what he said and the two stood up. Ally was the first to speak. She was wearing a beautiful white wedding gown while her husband Eldrith was wearing a black tuxedo.

“We would like to thank all of you for coming today to our special day. Of course, our families and friends that have been there since the beginning. Specially to Sha-sha she is the one who organized all of this, without her our wedding would not be this beautiful.” Ally stated with a smile on her face.

“Actually earlier, she was with my wife on her way here. She is the bride's maid, but unexpectedly it happened that she is giving birth now so we are worried about her now. She pushed both of us to go ahead with the marriage with the help of her she changed our minds.

Even though she is pregnant in the past few months, she still did not abandon the wedding and she made it very perfect. As a couple, we want to have a wonderful marriage and she exceed our expectations. It is that I am promoting her company but I guarantee all of you it is the best.” Eldrith added, 

“Enjoy everything guys!” They said together and everyone applauded. After their speech, they walked to their friend’s table. “What does it feel like? You are married!” Their male friend said happily. “We feel so happy and contended!” Eldrith said happily making them laugh. They were four men including Eldrith but there was one man who was just looking at them and had no emotion on his face.

“There's only one of us that cupid does not shoot! We are all married but he? Never mind.” A man said. “You are wrong dude! Cupid already hit him but the sad part is that the girl run away. That is the reason why he was always a heart broken haha!”

“The two of you, do you want to die?” the man said coldly which made them laugh. “Haha Boss Kent has no temper!” They both laughed and the one they called Kent shook his head, knowing that they were just fooling him, especially since they called him boss.

“Stop teasing Kent guys, the day will come when they will meet his beloved.” Ally said smiling at them. “Ally, you said that your bride's maid is different? Isn't Kent's partner not your bride's maid?” The couple looked at each other because of this question.

“No, she is not my bride's maid. She is Sha-sha's secretary. My bride’s maid is in the hospital because she is giving birth right now, after this we will go there.” they nodded after hearing what Ally is said. “We will introduce you to our friends later, just wait.” Then she pulled Eldrith to Grace's table with their mom and dad.

“How are you newlyweds!” Grace said happily and hugged the two making them laugh. Grace is always noisy which makes them happier because she does not seem to run out of energy in her body. “We're happy! How are you all here?” Eldrith said.

“We're good Son, we enjoy the foods that are delicious!” Ally's dad said. “Haha uncle, Sha-sha is really good at choosing things. She is making sure that all their connections are the best.” Grace said proudly to them. “By the way, did untie call about Sha-sha's giving birth delivery?” she added. Concern changed their faces. “Nothing. We are very worried right now.” Renz said

“Stop guys, do not be negative. Sha-sha and her baby are fine. We will see them soon.” Eldrith's Mom said with a smile so they smiled too. “After this we will go to the hospital.” Ally said making Grace frown. “What's?! You two just got married; you should have quality time first!” Ally shook her head at her. “No. We can't rest until we see Sha-sha and her son, we're excited!” Eldrith said happily so they laughed.

They talked for a while until the two remembered their purpose there. “Mom, Dad, we'll excuse the two first, we'll just introduce them to Kent.” They nodded and went to the men's table. “Hi guys this is our friends Grace and Renz they are also getting married soon.” Ally said. “Ally, it is not soon. By the way nice to meet you all!” Grace said and shook hands with them.

“I'm Lucas.” The other one said with a smile “I'm Noah and his Kent.” Noah said and introduced a quiet person next to him who was drinking. “Great! Ally, you did not tell me that your friends are handsome.” Grace whispered that Renz heard. “Babe you’re flirting in front of me really?” Renz said making them laugh. “Of course, not babe! I only know how to appreciate handsome faces!” they laughed because of that.

“By the way, is Kent always like that? Er… quiet?” Renz asked that Kent does not give a care.  “Please let it go, he is Heartbroken haha.” - Luke

While Kent was quiet on one side because he still remembers the woman who messed up his system until now. He did not seem to notice them because he did not care about his surroundings.

(This is when Atasha left Kent's Mansion)

Kent was surprised when he realized that the person next to him was no longer there. When he opened his eyes, he was hugging a pillow. He immediately stood and looked around. He went to the bathroom but still nothing. He saw her bag on one side so he thought the girl was still there.

He immediately went down to look for her, but no matter how hard he tried, the girl was not there.

“Shit!”

He went back to the room to make sure she was not there. As he approached the bed, he saw blood making him smiled because he remembered what happened that night. “I am her first, and definitely the last.” He said to himself and pressed something in his room that set on an alarm throughout the house.

“I will find you. I will not let you disappear from me. You are mine alone.”

But some time passed and they still could not find her. “Still nowhere to be found?!” He asked the staff who in turn nodded so in his frustration he dropped everything on his table.

“Find her! Anywhere!” He shouted and they immediately obeyed. The young man's head was still hot, especially when he found out that she had escaped from them. He was very angry with the guards and he almost killed them especially the guard outside. He took his key and went to the bar where he met the girl.

He was carrying the key he found inside the wallet he got. He might see an identity in the girl because he only knows her face. He is dying to know everything about that girl. When he arrived at the parking lot, he immediately pressed the button and a car rang.

He came to it and saw a white Mercedes-Benz car; he opened it and smelled the perfume that he will never forget. “It smells exactly like her.” He said and went inside. He saw that the stuff inside was organized. It was very clean, there were not many things, so he searched inside to find any information he could find. But he just leaned on the chair and no one was there. The inside is empty.

“Why is it empty? Does she really use this? Fvck!” Kent annoyed said. He held the steering wheel and thought that the girl also held it when she was the one driving. His caress came back to his memory. The way she hugs him behind, the way she kisses him, the way she makes noise because of what he is doing.

“I fvcking miss you. Where the hell are you?”

A month passed and nothing happened. He still does not see the girl. He already told his parents and they supported him because they now saw how crazy he is to a woman. He is in the office with his friends Noah and Lucas waiting for Eldrith because until now he is still not there.

“Eldrith, we've been waiting for you!” Noah said but Eldrith ignored him and just sat on the chair. Kent started talking about the reason why he called them. But he frowned when he looked at Eldrith who was dumbfounded. The two noticed that so they also looked at him.

“Hey Eldrith!” Lucas said but still nothing. “Are you fvcking listening Eldrith?!” Kent shouted making him blink. This is the time he had just met Atasha. He was sure that Atasha was the girl his friend Kent had been looking for a long time.

It is true that when he and Atasha first met, should have called off the wedding, he and Ally had talked about it, but everything changed when he saw Atasha. Because when they met at the bar, he was not drunk like Noah and Lucas. So like Kent he remembered her face. He looked at Kent. He wants to say that he has seen the girl he loves. Especially that they are going to have a baby but what Atasha told them to respect her decision entered his mind, so in the end he just shook his head.

“I think Eldrith is going crazy!” Noah said.“I wasn't like that when I got married!” Lucas answered. “We're the same!" When Noah agreed. The two of them were the first to have a family among their mutual friends and they are now happily married.

“Assh*le! I am just thinking. Alright, I will listen now, Boss.” Eldrith said further making Kent frown. The only time they call him Boss is when they are teasing him or maybe they are serious. And he knows Eldrith very well, when he is calling him boss it means he is serious.

Kent ignored that and continued the conversation.

A few months have passed and Kent still has not seen the girl. He used all his connections to see her but it is hard to find someone you do not know. “Why don't you give up boss? You have been looking for her for a long time, it has been eight months.” Eldrith said in a serious tone. “I do not care. Even It took me years to find her. Call me crazy but I love her. There is something on her the moment I saw her entering that bar, I cannot take my eyes off her.” Kent said looking into his drink making Eldrith smile.

“You really love her, don't you?” Kent looked at him. “Yes, I love her more than I love myself.” From then on, Kent did not stop looking for that girl. He will do anything just to find her. “I will find you no matter what.”

ATASHA saw a white ceiling when she opens her eyes. “Sha-sha! You are awake!” Atasha's Mom said. The lady immediately took water because that was what the doctor instructed her to do when she woke up. Atasha drank because she was also very thirsty. After drinking, she leaned on the head board.

“M-mom are my children?” Atasha asked making her mom smile. “They are so healthy Sha-sha! I saw them a while ago, the girl looks so cute! The boy is very handsome, I think he looks like his daddy.” she smiled because of what her mother said and was about to speak when the door opened and two nurses came in carrying her twins.

“Here are your babies.” They said and gave her twins. Atasha could not stop her tears because of that, she was very happy to see his children. “Mom look at them they are so gorgeous!” she said while crying. Her mother smiled and wiped her daughter's tears. “You're right Sha-sha. Do not cry, okay?” Atasha nodded and she let her mom carry the baby girl.

“Ma'am, can I know the names of the children so that they can be written on their birth certificates.” Atasha looked at the nurses and nodded. She had been thinking of a name for a long time if it would be a boy or a girl and to her surprise, she could use those two names. She should have noticed the mischief of the children in her stomach. She thought that the one baby in her stomach was just being naughty, but it turned out to be because there were two of them.

She would like the children's father's last name to be used even if they are not going to be together, her twins still have the right to get their father's last name because they both made it. But because he did not know the man, he was forced to use her last name. She first looked at her mother and she nodded. 

She looked at the nurses and smiled. “The girl is Addison Selry and the boy is Aiden Selry.” The two nurses smiled because of that. “Their name is as beautiful as they are!” Atasha smiled because of that and looked at Aiden. She was fast asleep in his arms and seemed to know very well that he was the one holding her.

Her mother sat next to her so she looked at her daughter. “She's just like me, mom.” she said smiling as her mom nodded. The nurses said their goodbyes and they were left there watching over the soundly sleeping children. Sometime later they looked at the door when it opened.

“OMG! Where are you?! Where is our child?!” Grace shouted startling the two babies, and crying. The newcomers were surprised because they heard two voices. “Grace, you are loud at any time! You made my children cry!” Atasha said and tried to make the two that she was holding to calm down. 

“Sha-sha your child is twins!” Ally said in shock and immediately came to her so the others also came in disbelief. “Can I carry him Sha-sha?” Ally asked as she nodded and handed Aiden over. “Me too! I will carry the girl!” Grace said happily. “Be careful Grace!” Atasha said. “Of course! I am just noisy, but I am careful with the child, right?” Atasha has given Addison to her. 

Her mother stood beside Atasha. “How are you feeling Sha-sha?” Her mother asked. “I am okay, mom. I am so happy that two angels came to us.” Her mother smiled. “Thank you, Sha-sha, I finally have a grandchild.” Atasha smiled. On the other hand, the two couples are very happy with the two babies. They are awake and they have opened their eyes.

“Ohmy! Baby girl can open her eyes immediately!” Grace said happily. “The baby boy too!” Ally said that Atasha and her mom just smiled. “He looks like him, Honey.” Ally whispered to Eldrith as she looked at Aiden. “I know honey. Kent will be delighted when he finds out about the children.” Eldrith also whispered. “I did not know that Kent is that good, it was just one night and now he has twins haha.” They both laughed because of what Ally said.

“Ally, Eldrith why did you come here? You just got married. Congratulations to you!” Atasha said with a smile so the two looked at each other. “Thank you Sha-sha for making our wedding so beautiful. Of course, we are here because we are worried about you. I guess we also want to see your child. We were surprised that they were twins!” Eldrith said making Atasha smile big.

“What's their name Sha-sha?” Renz said and waited for Atasha's answer. “The one you're holding Grace is Addison Selry and the one Ally is holding is Aiden Selry.” she said with a smile that it made them happy because of their beautiful name. It is perfect for twins. “Why is your last name Sha-sha?” Grace asked that made Atasha stunned for a while.

“Duh! I do not even know the daddy of my children, how can I put his last name?” she said rolling her eyes that made them laughed. While Ally and Eldrith looked at each other but just shook their heads and immediately looked at Aiden. “Hi baby Aiden I'm your Aunt Ally and he's Uncle Eldrith welcome to the world!” Ally said with a smile.

“Sha-sha, Addison's is always shaking her hand, I am sure she is talking to me! Hahaha.” Grace said that Atasha just shook her head.

A few months passed and everyone adjusted to the arrival of the twins. They are five months old and they are dumb. While Addison is funny and always laughs Aiden, if you don't play, he won't pay attention to you. He seems to have inherited this habit from his Daddy.

They were at the mall with Ally and Eldrith. The two-month honeymoon is over and they often go to Atasha's to play with the two children. Even Grace was there often. They were very happy with the twins. They are now in the Stroller together that made people pay attention to the two twins inside because they are so cute. Both Addison's nose was spiky and red from her cheeks as well as Aiden's. They are really both Beautiful and handsome. 

But in the middle of their walk, Ally's eyes widened when she caught someone in her eye and immediately whispered to Eldrith. “Honey, is that Kent?!” Eldrith was also surprised by that and looked at Kent who was walking without emotion. They stopped at a bench and made Atasha played with the twins. “Ally you should go with Sha-sha! I know Kent does not care about around him.”  Eldrith said and Ally immediately nodded and came to Sha-sha and they played together while Eldrith hid.

“This is not the right time for you to see them, Kent. Fix the problem you have first.” Eldrith said to himself that he knows very well what is wrong with Kent, that is why he does not want Atasha and the twins to get involved.  He just followed Kent's gaze as he walked away and lay there relieved to be gone. He looked at Ally and nodded to her because he was gone.

~3 years later~

THREE years have passed since Atasha gave birth. And now the twins are big enough that even though they are only three years old, they can speak and think like a 10-year-old. Maybe it is because they inherited their intelligence from their parents and because those around them always talk to them. Atasha's mother was very happy with the twins and nothing would make her happier, especially when the twins started to make noise in their house.

“Mommy!!! Kuya(older brother called in the Philippines) Aiden are teasing me again!” Addison shouted from the living room. Atasha was in the kitchen with her mother while the twins were in the living room playing. It is already late and they will be going to school tomorrow. The twins requested to study so the do not have a choice. 

“No Mom! I am just playing here!” Aiden said making Addison laugh at the twins. That is Addison's attitude. Silly, she loves playing around. She likes to annoy his older brother especially when she sees him very annoyed. While Aiden on the other hand always wants everything organized. And because Atasha loves them so much, she gives them both everything they wanted and yes, she is spoiling them. But still she never fails to remind the twins that not all they wanted they will get it. 

Aiden is quiet but when it comes to his mommy and twin’s sister, he is talkative. And one more thing, even though Addison loves to annoys his twin she loves him so much. That is what Atasha taught them, that when the two of them are together Aiden will always take care of her especially when she is not around he should always watch over her.

“You are pranking me again Addi, stop it it's not funny.” Aiden said and he called his twin by her nickname that Aiden gave her which made Addison laugh even more. As for Atasha, she already knows that Addison has been teasing her older brother. The two have never fought. Aiden is kind, he does not punish his sister, so Atasha knows that when they grow up, Aiden will take good care of her.

“Sha-sha, we should hurry because Addison will not stop to tease his brother.” His mom said laughing, which made Atasha laugh too. “Haha, mom, that is the other way around to show their love for each other. I am sure Aiden will not hit her, he loves her sister,” Atasha said said with a smile. “You're right, Of the two of them, Aiden is the matured one. I think he inherited that from his Daddy, you weren't like that before.” Atasha just laughed because of what her mom said.

As the twins grow up, they start asking about their daddy. Of course, because Atasha loves the twins, she told them the truth. She told everything and the twins understood that. Atasha even cried because she did not think a 3-year-old would understand that. She thought that she is very lucky to have a twin.

In the years that have passed, she has also lost hope that the father of her children will see her again. She knew to herself that even if she spent just one night with the man, there was a place for him in her heart. At first, she knew that she was safe when he was with her. That was also one of the reasons why she gave everything to the man. But right now, she does not think about such a thing. Her company has grown and its name is now well known.

They have also set up many branches all over the Philippines and there are ongoing ones in other countries which makes Atasha even more happy. She could not ask for anything more in this situation. She is with her children, his mother. She is content with his friends and family.

The next day, the twins woke up early because they were excited to go at school. After taking them to the school, when she arrived at the office, she was surprise to her two friends, Ally, and Grace. Grace was also married a year after she gave birth and both were pregnant. Atasha even laughed because the two had planned it.

“Oh? What are two pregnant women doing here?” Atasha asked and sat in her chair. “It is just that we are bored at home and we are going to the mall! Do you want to join us?” Ally said, both are four months pregnant. “You both know that I am busy,” Atasha said while reading the papers. They were about to talk when Alizha, Atasha's secretary, knocked.

“Ms. Sha-sha you have a meeting tomorrow at 10 and you also have a lunch meeting while this afternoon you also have a meeting at 2 and 4.” Alizha said that Atasha nodded. “Thank you for informing me, Alizha. Update me later before the meeting, I might forget it.” Alizha nodded and went out. 

She looked at her friends. “See? My schedule is full. Get together with your husbands.” Atasha said that the two complained. “That's why we are here because we want to be with you! You are always saying that your busy!” Grace said that made Atasha sighed.

“Guys, I am sorry, okay? Next time.” The two has nothing to do but sighed. They already know Atasha, when she says next time that will not happen because she is busy every day. “Sha-sha, if you continue like that, you will not be able to get married. You always go home and office. You always focus on work as well as the twins. Think of yourself, your 30 years old for God's sake!” Ally said that Atasha that made Atasha roll her eyes.

“How many times do I have to tell you that I am satisfied with what I have? I am just happy with the twins, I do not care if I do not have a husband, okay? Now, you two should leave. I have a lot of things to finish.” Atasha said and went back to her work. The two looked at each other and shrugged. They could not do anything because she was always like that.

A month has passed and Atasha's life is still the same. Ally and Grace will always bother her and force her to go out, which she refuses. But there are times when she cannot refuse, especially when she does not have much of schedule. They will take advantage of that and pull her out of his office.

While the twins are happily studying at school. Today is Sunday and the twins are at the mall. Atasha should be with them today but she has a meeting this week so only her mom is with them. The twins understand that and it is fine with them. The truth is they are in awe of their mommy because she raised them alone and tried to persevere for them.

“Grandma, I want to go to the Chanel!” Addison said

“No grandma I wanna go to the Fun house!” Aiden immediately refuses and they both looked at each other evilly.

“Grandchildren, let us go there on by one. Later we will go to other one, okay?”

“No!” They said together. There are things that they cannot agree on especially when they are at the mall and their mommy is not there. Only Atasha can make them obey in such a way that no one else can do it so when you are with them it can really stress you out. Their grandmother first fed them Ice cream which is their favourite cookies and cream to cool the heads of the two.

They ate because they could not refuse their Favorite Ice cream. Atasha's Mom was talking to Aiden as Addison slowly left for the Chanel brand. Addison is always naughty and now she is running away. Addison smiled triumphantly and could see Chanel but she sat on the floor when she bumped into someone.

“Ouch! Huhu.” She said crying. The man she bumped into looked at her and immediately bent down and helped her. “Hey baby girl I am sorry don't cry, okay?” The man said as Addison looked at him, she was stunned. “Sorry, okay? I didn't see you because your too small.” Addison frowned as he said this.

“I am not Small! Mommy told me that I am a beautiful lady!” because of that the man laugh. “Your mommy is right, you’re so beautiful.” Addison said which made her blush. He stood up and Addison looked at him. “You know what mister; you look like my twin!” finally she said it. She notice it immediately when she looked at him.

“Really? Well, we have a lot of look-alike in the world so that's natural. But can I ask you something? Do you have any older sister? Coz I remembered someone special to you. You really look like her.” The man said as Addison shook her head. 

“None." the man nodded. “Addison!” They looked at Atasha's mom who was approaching them. 

“Addison, what did your Mommy say to you?” her grandma asks. “Don't stay away from you grandma. I know, but kuya is hard-headed, I know that he will not let me go first!” she answered. The man who bumped into Addison, Kent, stood up and looked at the girl with a smile. 

“What if you are lost? Do you want your Mommy to get worried about you huh?” Her grandmother said. Atasha’s mom sighed and looked at Kent. “Mister, please forgive my granddaughter.” She said that made the man shook his head. “No, it is okay. I am the one who should apologize to her because I did not see her.” He said while Atasha's mom also noticed that he looked like Aiden.

“You look like Addison's twin.” She said making Kent smile. “Yeah, baby girl told me too. But we know that we all have look-alike in the world so it is natural.” Kent said and she nodded. She thanked the man and asked Addison to leave. “No Grandma! I do not want to go there! Kuya will enjoy it and I am not!” Addison immediately decline that made her grandmother to tap her forehead because she did not know what to do with these twins.

“If you want, I will go with her wherever she likes to go,” Kent said making the lady look at him. “Don't worry, I am not a bad person. I will take care of your granddaughter; it is my peace offering as I accidentally bump her.”

Atasha's mom can feel that he is not a bad person especially that he is still wearing a business suit, she is worried that they might be bothering him. 

“Thank you, mister but you're still going to the meeting.” 

“No, I insist. Don't worry, I'm fine.”

“Kyahhh grandma you heard that?! Go ahead so that you can get back to Kuya!”  Addison said with a smile. Her grandmother thinks for a minute and eventually nodded too. It is weird but she can feel that Addison was safe with the man. 

“Wow! Thank you, grandma, Yehey! Let's go!” Addison said so Kent picked her up. 

“Let's meet at the bench there later, son, okay?” her grandmother ask Kent. “Sure, I'll keep a close eye on her.” He said and they left.

“Wow!! Thank you! Mister?”

“I'm Keiron Kent but just call me uncle Keiron,” Addison smiled more at that. “I am Addison! Pretty Addison will do haha.” Kent laughed because of the child's behavior and asked where they were going and she pointed to the Chanel, they immediately entered and Addison was so happy that even Kent was happy.

He bought everything she liked. Addison hesitated at first but Kent insisted so Addison happily chose. While Atasha's mom just remembered that she did not give the man any money. She knew her granddaughter was going to a branded shop so she immediately went out of the Fun house and told Aiden to wait there but when she went to the bench the two were sitting and eating ice cream. She also saw many paper bags at the bottom.

“Addison, did you buy that much from him?” She said as they look at her which made Addison smile. “Yes, grandma! He insisted so I did not do anything.” she said happily. 

“Don't worry, it is fine. And I am leaving because I am a bit late.” But in truth, he was an hour late but because he wanted the girl so much, he did not pay attention to the time and he really enjoyed being with her especially and he thought it was as if he was with the girl he loves.

“Mister, I am sorry for the trouble. I forgot to give you money earlier.”

“It's okay.” Kent looked at Addison. “Bye pretty Addison, don't go away from your grandma, okay? Maybe next time we will meet again. And don't fight with your brother anymore.”

“Yes! Thank you, uncle Keiron!”

The man happily left and later they went to Aiden who was also surprised by the amount of Chanel items that Addison brought. They stay at the mall for some time until they decided to go home.
