"So, Miss when shall we get married?", Mo Shan asked.

Yun Xi was stunned.

"Wh… What? Are you crazy, Mister?" Yun Xi asked feeling bewildered.

'What did he mean? Is he crazy or what?' thought Yun Xi. Then suddenly remembering something, she widened her eyes, 'Is he be a pervert or mentally challenged person? But looking at his handsome face he doesn't seem so.' Realizing that her thoughts have gone wary, Yun Xi shook her head to dispel the thoughts.

"Oh? I thought you wanted me to take responsibility? What is it now?", Mo Shan asked her back.

"When did I ask you to take responsibility? I just meant that it was your car which came rushing towards me and not me who went in front of your car to have an accident. So, you should not blame me for the accident. Instead, you should apologize to me for the accident.", Yun Xi explained patiently as if teaching some kindergarten children.

"But I am not the one who was driving. Why should I apologize to you?", Mo Shan replied playfully.

"I meant whoever was driving the car, not you, Mister." Yun Xi was almost fed up right now.

"Oh? You want Assistant Zhang to take responsibility for you? But that's not possible, Assistant Zhang is already married." Mo Shan told her.

Yun Xi was almost sure now that the man beside her was really mentally unwell.

"Mister, are you really crazy? I am just asking you to not blame me for the accident and I am just asking for an apology from whoever was driving. When did I ask for anyone to take responsibility for me and marry me? Sorry to say this but you are not smart as much as you look." With this Yun Xi turned her face away from him and rolled her eyes.

"Haha", Yun Xi heard someone laughing beside her and slowly turned her head towards the sound of a laugh. She saw Mo Shan laughing looking towards her. She was stunned seeing him laugh, he looked so attractive when laughing. She could not take her eyes off him.

Mo Shan saw that Yun Xi was looking at him dumbfounded and suddenly realized that he was actually laughing without knowing. He quickly controlled his laughter and coughed to hide his embarrassment.

Yun Xi came to herself when she heard him cough. Only then did she realize that Mo Shan was knowingly making fun of her the whole time.

"You did it purposely, didn't you?", Yun Xi glared at him.

"What did I do, Miss? Why don't I understand you?", Mo Shan feigned innocence.

"You…", Yun Xi pointed her index finger at Mo Shan and wanted to say something but the door of the ward opened at the very time, so she took her hand back awkwardly.

As soon as Wang Lei opened the door, he saw Yun Xi pointing her finger at Mo Shan. He was quite shocked seeing the scene that greeted him as soon as he entered the room. He then glanced at his friend but saw that he was just sitting there indifferently.

Wang Lei knew something strange was going in there but had no idea about it so he spoke, "Breakfast is here guys" and then he walked towards the table in front of Mo Shan and set the breakfast there.

After settling the breakfast there, he walked towards Yun Xi and said, "Oh, you are awake already. Let me check you," and then started examining her.

"Okay, you are fine now. But don't over-stress yourself. You know that you are pregnant, right? So, you should take extra care since you have an additional one in you. Now come have some breakfast, you must be hungry. It's food suitable for pregnant women." With that, he went to sit on the couch.

As soon as Wang Lei finished speaking, Yun Xi's stomach started growling as if telling them that she was really hungry. Hearing her own stomach grumbling, Yun Xi was so embarrassed and her face turned red. She hurriedly covered her stomach with her hands as if to lower the sound. She then looked at Wang Lei and smiled awkwardly. "I guess I am hungry hehe."

With this, she stood up and walked towards breakfast. After opening the food and placing it on the table, she realized that it was all plain and really suitable for sick ones.

"Wow! This hospital is really great, huh? It even provides us with food without even ordering and it looks too healthy." She told herself but Wang Lei and Mo Shan both heard her.

Wang Lei looked at Mo Shan's face, then turned to Yun Xi and spoke, "Well, Miss the breakfast is not from the hospital. This Mr. Mo here ordered it for you."

Yun Xi's hand, which was reaching towards food, suddenly stopped when she heard Wang Lei's explanation. She looked at Mo Shan surprisingly and asked, "Is it true? You were the one who ordered food? For me?"

"No, I didn't order for you. I was hungry so I ordered them for myself.", Mo Shan replied indifferently and moved his hand to take the food.

Although he remained indifferent, Yun Xi could see that it was actually ordered for her. So, she took porridge from the table and spoke, "Even if it isn't for me, thank you because you did not tell me not to eat it."

The corner of Mo Shan's lips turned upwards hearing her words.

Wang Lei was shocked to see his friend smiling. He has never seen him smile like that.

Mo Shan felt Wang Lei's eyes on him so he glared towards Wang Lei as if to warn him. Wang Lei quickly took his eyes back and coughed, then spoke "Even I am hungry. These foods should be enough for me too, right? Let me have some." And reached his hand to take the food.

"You two know each other?" asked Yun Xi while eating the porridge.

"Yes, we are childhood friends.", replied Wang Lei.

"Oh, then you two must be close", said Yun XI and continued eating without even lifting her head.

"Can be said that", replied Wang Lei and he too started eating.

The ward fell into silence with only the sound of spoon clinking with bowls and eating sound of themselves.

Mo Shan broke the silence by asking, "So, Miss you did not return home yesterday and also did not inform anyone. Where is the father of your child? Is he not worried about you?"

At that moment, Yun Xi and Wang Lei both stopped their eating and the ward fell into complete silence. Yun Xi was stunned hearing his question and did not know how to answer him.

"My child does not need a father. I will be both mother and father for my child", replied Yun Xi.

Mo Shan did not miss the determination in her voice. He knew that she was really determined and ready to do what she said.

"Why? Don't you husband want the child?' he asked again.

"I am not married so have no husband. And no it was my own decision to raise the child by myself." Yun Xi replied.

While this was going on, Wang Lei was stupefied on the side because he knew that his friend was never interested in other people's life but here he was asking the pregnant lady questions about her life.

'What is happening here? Does Mo Shan know this lady?' Wang Lei thought to himself, 'Or was he interested in this lady? Should I inform old master Mo that his grandson was finally interested in a woman?'

While all sorts of thoughts were going in his mind, he felt cold glare from his friend. He then looked somewhere else and acted as though he didn't understand anything.

Mo Shan could guess what was going in his friend's mind seeing him being distracted in his thoughts. So, he looked at his friend coldly as if warning him to stop his thoughts from going further immediately.

Mo Shan then turned towards Yun Xi and realized that she was lost in her own thoughts.

"Food is getting cold. Eat quickly" he ushered her.

Only then Yun Xi realized that she was in her own thought, then quickly gobbled the porridge to hide the awkwardness.

After finishing all her food, she thanked Mo Shan for the food and told him that she was tired and wants to rest for a while. She also asked Wang Lei when she can be discharged.

"Spend one more day here. You can discharge tomorrow." Wang Lei answered and then collected all the dishes on the table and walked out.

"Give me your cell phone", ordered Mo Shan to Yun Xi.

Yun Xi did not know what he wanted but gave it to him anyway. She saw that Mo Shan was typing something on her phone. She wanted to ask what he was doing but chose to remain silent.

"Here, take it. You can rest now. I will come back in the evening. If you have any problem, just contact me. I have saved my number in your phone as Mr. Mo." Saying this, he too walked out from there.
