Chapter Twenty

Emma

The blade of the knife is inches from my face. I try not to move so that I don't get hit.

"Let me go!"

"I don't like people to make fun of me, and that's exactly what you did, you bitch!"

I think about yelling for someone, but I am afraid that this crazy woman might cut my face.

"The bitch here is you who hit on my husband" she growls in anger and tries to attack me.

I manage to move to the side, making the knife catch on the wall. I kick the woman away, causing her to fall to the ground.

I run my hand down my neck and take a deep breath.

I open the bathroom door and walk out of there, leaving an angry Alice lying on the floor.
