Chapter 35 - The Hitman

Gavin's P.O.V.

I feel uncomfortable about Anushka being moved to a non-secure unit. There are too many people able to get around. I can't tell who's doctors, nurses, or housekeeping because they all wear scrubs. Jordan walks out to talk to me while the doctor checks Anushka.

"You don't like this any more than I do, do you?" He asks, leaning against the wall next to me.

"No. There's too much going on here. Someone can sneak in, and we won't know who they are. Especially with half the people wearing face masks. They can pretend to be one of the staff, and we would never know." I answer him. Gregory was already able to get to the nurse who Bobby likes. At least she turned out to be a good person, but what if he gets to someone else. Even if we check all their badges, one of the staff members could be corrupt.

"I'm going to talk to the doctor. We have to have a better plan. Give me a minute." I nod and look arou
