One Bad Cook

“Rosie, let go of the baby. He has to sleep,” Izabelle persuaded her daughter.

The child shook her head in disagreement as her hands tightened around the baby.

“Rosie. The baby has to sleep.”

The child frowned as if she was going to cry anytime soon. The family members laughed at this. She hugged the newborn baby to her chest as if he was a Barbie doll and her eyes occasionally stared at him. She wondered why the baby’s face was red and why it occasionally makes noise in its sleep.

To her, the baby was cute and warm and she didn't want to let him go anytime soon to her mother who keeps asking her to let the baby be. She woke up from her sleep an hour ago and when she saw the newborn baby in his crib, she couldn't help but cry to her mommy that she wanted to carry the baby.
