CHAPTER FOURTEEN

2 DAYS LATER

Every damn thing James had warned her about was slowly happening right before her very own eyes. Anna folded her arms on the couch with the remote tightly glued to her hands. It had to take so much effort for her not to stand up on her feet and head to James' house immediately.

Soon, Anna curled her finger into a fist and looked away from the TV when she heard the nanny's voice,

"Ma'am, I already put Emma to sleep, is there anything else you would like me to do?"

"No, thank you, Nanny Sophia,"

The nanny nodded her head and began to head back up the stairs to her room while Anna remained on the couch. Fuck! Everything was beginning to slowly become a mess, knowing fully well that her father's company was about to go down the drain and her ex-husband had requested they get married again just to save it.

What about Emma? Would she be happy with James? Anna thought about it for a second, but that thought was immediately discarded from her mind as she recalled every damn thing
