Chapter 21: A deadly fight

" Dare to say that again, kiddo?" John started; the only thing that separated between both of them was me who stood in between trying to prevent their clash as much as possible.

" Aren't I right though... Uhm, if I have to describe your life Johnnie, I would say that it is just miserable." Shawn retorted. 

It seems that Gerald did not only carry out a background check on me but on all those around me as well. Shawn was playing dirty when he mentioned John's weakness, he did not say it directly but he clearly was talking about his wife who left him taking his kids along with her as she prevented him from ever meeting with him again. 

John was so absorbed in fighting that he did not care much about his family, when he came to realize who is more important it was just too late. He lost his sole family because of his own mistakes. He had always regretted doing so.

" That is enough, Shawn. I said let’s go." I repeated in an angry tone now.
