Chapter Eleven

"Alix! Reggy!" Adalyn's voice came from outside the great hall entrance. She had been waiting for us alongside Lenda and the pack.

Adrika and Ace looked ready to jump into battle, while the rest of the group wore different expressions ranging from fear, and worry to horror.

When we got to the Hall entrance, two things happened at once. The scorpion-wolves arrived and a swirling dark hole appeared before us, a red figure flew from within it before it closed back.

We all stared at the figure in shock. It was a tall woman with wild red hair and flawless skin but when she turned to face us, I gasped. Her face was a reflection of mine. The only difference between us was our eyes. My eyes were gray whereas hers were all black, with no whites. A dark witch.

"What the hell?" Alix muttered.

"Hello daughter," the dark witch greeted in a voice that sounded sweet as honey but spiced with venom.

I frowned and stepped back, Alix moved to stand in front of me and his sister was clinging to my arm
