Chapter 53: She offered herself

In this heartache, the sun won’t shine, and the tweeting of the birds will not soothe your soul. It was blank inside her heart. Heartbreak was evidence that she loved in good faith and made the bond that hurts so very she shut down herself.

Octavio never saw her like this. She doesn’t talk, smile, or even let him know she is living in the same room.
