Conner’s POV

Joshua and I were in the training area with the hybrids when the door opened and one of his cloaked men stepped in carrying a screaming and kicking woman over his shoulders. It didn’t take me long to realize that woman was my mother. The man in the cloak walked straight to us and tossed my mother onto the ground in front of Joshua’s feet and looked at my father and said, “She took out Kevin. You never told us she has powers like she does.”

Joshua chuckled before he says, “She’s the High Priestess what did you expect?”

“She wasn’t alone either. She had one like us with her that was stronger than anyone I have ever seen before. He drained two of our other men like they were just a meal to him.” The man in the cloak said and I knew it had to of been the man with Alexandra last night.
