Rayne’s POV

The smell of mint tingles my senses and I take in a deep breath wanting to fill every inch of my being with his scent. If this was heaven then the Moon Goddess was playing with my emotions because all I wanted was to be in Reese’s arms knowing he would protect me from what was to come.

Heat now engulfed me and I could feel his arms wrapped tightly around me as I let my body snuggle into his embrace. “Rayne baby, please come back to me.” I heard Reese voice like he was here with me but I know he can’t be because all I see is darkness.

Then I feel his lips press softly against mine and my skin begins to tingle to his touch like it was being jump started.
