“I cannot believe that you would try something like this.” Penn growled at a smiling Cain as Stanley quickly stood in front of Penn, holding Penn back as she raged. She had gotten to Vallas just in time to see one of the women who was with Vallas, try to stab him in his chest. 

And the crazy guy with a knife wound was still toying with the woman who tried to kill him!

“Penn.” Vallas called from his seat which was provided for him in a room close to the ballroom but empty apart from the king, his son, Vallas party, the failed assassin and the guards. A physician was there too, trying to clean him up with Rima giving orders in harsh tone. 

“He did this.” Penn shouted. 

“Temper.” Vallas ordered as Penn's mouth snapped close. “We don’t do this in public.” Vallas said. “We don’t accuse or punish those who we are not sure of their wrongs.”
