After Becky went to sleep, Rip climbed to his feet before carefully helping me up. As soon as I was on my feet, he scooped me up to carry me to our room, while I lovingly ran my fingers through his hair. When he deposited me on the bed, I immediately bounced up.

“Get showered and get in pajamas! I’ll be right back!” I told him.

Before I could leave the room, he caught my wrist to pull me back to him. “Why don’t you shower with me?”

I smirked at him as I rubbed myself against him. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”

He groaned as he palmed my ass. “Absofuckinglutely.”

I tapped his chest. “Well, consider this your punishment! You’re in trouble, buddy!”

He grunted in frustration as he let me go. “I know. I’m sorry, Nomes. I really am. I promise not to be gone so much. I will never miss another bedtime if I can avoid it. 9-5. I won’t let anyone pull me away from our family unless I have no other choice.”

I tilted my head as I studied his face, taking note of the sincerity in his eyes.
