I let out another sigh as I took out the chicken breast that I intended to use to prepare soup for Alex from the fridge.

Why did Damon have to go as far as kidnapping Alex?

Alex had not talked about it since all of the events happened the previous day, and I silently hoped that he had no idea that Damon was in the middle of his kidnap.

Sure, if they were to go into a physical fight if Alex finds out, and goes after Damon in rage, Damon was definitely going to win the fight.

And not just that he was going to win, Alex might not come back alive.
