The visit
Emily's point of view:
" Excuse me ma'am, but we've reached the already mentioned destination!"
The taxi driver's interruption brought me back out of my memory, which I was thankful for. I pushed away the almost fallen tear I was holding years ago, then I paid for the drive, and went out of it while being gratified that the awful day was eventually over.
Again, what I was thinking about wasn't what's truly was happening. As I left the taxi, I met a familiar face. This time it wasn't someone I would hate to meet. Quietly the opposite, it was Patrick. As I was about to greet him, I remember that he might not want to talk to me after what Daniel did to him.
