Annelise's POV

Ethan stormed out of the office too and I was left alone. I stared hard at the picture in my hand, the only thing I could see was a damaged car and that is the major reason I didn't believe Ken at first.

Ethan also didn't say anything, so it definitely meant that it was true. I'm still finding it hard to believe that Ethan killed someone like Ken said though.

I have a premonition that something just isn't right somewhere, there's something fishy somewhere.

The more I stared hard at the picture, the more confused I got.

All I have is this picture and I intend on working with it for the meantime.

I got to the parking lot for the second time again to see Max leaning on the car.

“Let's go home." I said to him as I got to the backseat. He nodded and got in the driver's seat.

He started the engine while I continued staring at the picture as though I wanted it to talk to me itself.

I fished out my phone after just staring wordlessly at the picture for a while.
