The drive to the company was cold, silent, and awkward, and Lisa wished she hadn't signed the contract at one point.

They arrived at the company after some minutes of driving. Ricardo parked his car in the VIP parking lot and stepped out, still as cold as he had entered the car.

They walked to their respective floors without saying anything to one another.

Lisa sighed as she walked into her office, dropped her bag, and began to wonder what Susan and Ricardo were talking about.

Lisa was certain that something had happened in the past, and that incident was the cause of their relationship breakdown.

"They must have been very close." Lisa muttered as she made her way to the managing director's office, holding a fresh flower in her hand.
