I give up and cover my face, groaning.

"You're okay?" He asks.

I can feel the small amount of alcohol working on me. But I'm still in a good mood. I sit straight and rub my face.

"Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. I think—"

"Well, you can talk about good things, no?" He smiles.

"There was nothing good in my life", I grunt. "Brought up in slums. Hardly getting food to eat. Working in a coal mine since I was a child. Nothing was good, actually. Mom left too. It's all about Ryan and Kevin, those only people who care about me", I scoff.
