"What?" I ask.

She eyes me with a cold stare.

"I thought you wanted me to move in?" she exclaims and the disappointment in her eyes is visible.

It leaves me completely surprised that she might want to move in with me.

"I— I do. I surely do", I say in a firm tone. "I wasn't just sure that you would appreciate the idea", I tell her.

She rolls onto her stomach on my chest and looks straight into my eyes.

"Or you were too scared to tell me what you want", she says, raising her eyebrows at me. "Am I right?"

"I don't know", I mutter, lowering my eyes.

She rests her head on my chest and we don't face each other anymore now. I dip my fingers into her hair, caressing them as her fingertips roam around my skin.

"Last night, you asked me if you can call me yours", she whispers.
