WILLIAM'S POV

By the time I drove back to the office, it was looking scanty already. I stole a glance at my wrist watch and it was already after office hours. As I made it into the building, I secretly prayed Catherine would still be there, waiting for me, at least that would make it easier for me to apologize for running off mid-cover.

Before I could make it to the elevator, a voice came from now the hall, filling the echoing air with vibration, "Sir, madam Catherine has left the office already." I turned to my left and saw the janitor, with a mop stick in his grip.

The heels of my shoes hit against the squeaky floors, as I approached him, "About how many minutes ago did she leave?"

" About an hour ago, sir."

" An hour?!" I cocked my brows in shock. That only meant she was probably very pissed as she left. Catherine never leaves the office that early.

    By the time I got to my parents' Mansion, I spotted Vanessa black porche parked in front of the mansion. "Shit!" I cursed under my breath and hurried into the mansion.
