“It’s been a while, Mr. Mahon,” Kendrick greeted Mahon when he entered his office.

“It has indeed. I almost couldn’t recognize you.” He giggled quietly.

“That sounds like good news to me,” Kendrick replied, giggling like a baby.

Mahon cleared his throat, “R.B. Conglomerate is having an auction for their new masterpiece necklace,” he said.

“That sounds nice, but why are you telling me? I have no connection with R.B.” He questioned.

“But you have a connection with me and as a friend and soon to be business partners again, I am inviting you to the auction,” He smiled, raising his eyebrows.

Kendrick’s eyes glowed, his heart was beating fast, Mahon was considering buying shares with them again.

“You are coming back?” Kendrick asked.

“Of course. I just found a better offer earlier but you don't have to worry about it,” He said.

Ken's heart jumped for joy. The best news so far.

“Well, that's a surprise to me. Wasn't expecting you to come back to Ruserick,” Kendrick told him.
