Emiliana My happiness came second. Second to everything and everyone, even myself. I should have known it though. My father never really asked me as much as told me I was taking his place in the company. He was still holding the chess board that was my life, placing each piece into a well-thought out position. “Where is your place, Gio?” I asked accusingly, tilting my head and leaning forward with my arms hugging my knees.
