Amelia stumbled out of the Lightwood house. She knew that she was losing too much blood and her consciousness was fading but she did not want to fall in front of those people.

She clutched the knife on her lower belly and quickened her pace. As long as she could leave this place, she knew that she would be able to find help.

When she arrived outside the gate, she thought she saw a familiar-looking Porsche. She shook her head and thought that she might have lost a lot of blood and that she was hallucinating. Whether she was hallucinating or not, she wanted to walk over to the car but before she could make another step, she felt her legs grow heavy and she stumbled forward.

Axel, who had locked his eyes on her ever since she left the gate, was shocked when he saw that Amelia was falling. Something seemed off with her. Before his brain could react, he had already left the car at a lightning speed and immediately held her in his arms before her body touched the ground.
