Obstacles

Soon-Ja prepares dinner for Jung-Won to make up with him. "I just want to make him happy." She mumbles and heads out of the kitchen.

She smiles brightly once she sees Jung-Won entering the house. She immediately goes to the kitchen and brings a glass of water.

Jung-Won sits on a couch and drinks silently before getting up after putting the glass down. "Thank you." He murmurs. "Dinner is ready." She says, making him nod. "Go and get fresh." She whispers. Soon, he nods once more and leaves. "At least he is responding." She thinks sadly.

Eun-Hee smiles as she takes out a frame of her family photo. Her father is holding her in his arms while her mother is standing beside him. "Oh dad." She whispers and hugs the picture tightly.

The door opens startling her.

"Mom? Come in." Eun-Hee looks at the door and her mother was standing in the doorway looking at her blankly. "How many times do I need to tell you to just throw this away." She points her finger at the frame. Eun-Hee shakes her head
