Chapter 10

She stood up quickly away from him when she realized what had happened between the two of them and run as fast as she could towards the door.

She was so ashamed of him as if she's the one who initiated it although she was not, she still feels as if it was her fault.

She left him stunned there from the bed where he was sitting. She hurriedly run back to her room as fast as she could and shut the door closed as if someone was chasing her.

Her breath was panting. She touch her lips that's slightly swollen from that hot and sensual kiss.

"What the hell was that Summer! Are you crazy?!" She asked herself in annoyance and put her palm in her forehead feeling light headed all of a sudden.

"you are so stupid!" She exclaimed. She was aware that his boss was a chick magnet but she couldn't believed he could hook her with a kiss.

She closed her eyes thinking it wasn't real, she wanted to believed it didn't happened but the image, replays vividly in her mind and she felt the sensation intensely as if his lips was still connected to hers, she doesn't want to admit the fact that she enjoys what he did back there.

She haven't been kissed by any man ever since she got divorced, why am I so fragile and easy to provoke? she thought.

The barrier she built to avoid any man, for long years was easily shattered by Ace in an instant. She knew he was trouble the first time she saw him but didn't realized she will be on his list.

She hated herself for responding to his kiss, his warm and sinfully delicious lips devoured her pulling her to ecstacy, blurring her way of thinking and lit up a long dead flame of desire within her.

She couldn't believed it and couldn't understand why she kissed him back that easily and didn't even refused him. Her heart was pounding fast, she felt so stupid, and she felt ashamed of what she did back there, how could she faced him tomorrow after what they did tonight and she hated herself for that.

He was left there longing for that kiss, he missed her lips already, now he wanted to run after her and continue what they have started. How come he suddenly felt the urge to kissed her and who knows if she didn't left him there he might have done more to her.

He was so confused. No woman ever make his heart skipped a beat just like that, just this ugly one and he couldn't believed it. He never felt that way towards anyone else before unless they initiated something to happen.

But this woman is different she doesn't do anything to catch his attention, she looks so clueless but he suddenly felt the urge to kissed her.

This is so interesting! He exclaimed to himself touching his slightly swollen lips, he was fascinated on what had happened between him and her tonight and he wanted to taste her lips again and unconsciously fantasizing how would her body felt against his body.

A fire burning desire rose within him making a bonner under his pants, now he knew he was attracted to her. That deliciously sweet, warm, and soft lips of her excites him beyond imagination.

He overslept the next morning because he couldn't sleep last night thinking about her but he felt energetic knowing he would see her around. Good thing it was weekend and they don't have any scheduled work today.

He took a shower and wear a casual clothes, a plain blue shirt and pants. He went down stairs to eat late breakfast hoping to see her. She was the main reason why he has a good mood today. He saw Jake instructing the maid what to be done inside the villa.

"Where's Summer?" He curiously asked Jake in his formal tone when he didn't see her around the house.

"She went out early, she said she would meet a friend." He replied. Making him felt gloomy all of a sudden.

She went out early today, since it was her rest day she took the opportunity to buy something for her mom and her sister Kylie, her birthday was coming by the end of the month and she wanted to surprise her and send her gift in advance.

She went to a signitured brand boutique in the city to buy the dress she saw when Jake and her went shopping the last time. It was a simple white sleeveless dress with small purple and yellow flower prints on the waist line, Kylie was a beautiful young woman and she would turn nineteen this year.

She was a young version of her. Their looks was really similar. Their only differences was she was taller than her, she had straight hair while she had a wavy hair, she was athletic and she was good in everything unlike her she was stupid enough to marry at a young age of nineteen, and been divorced at the age of twenty four.

Their father died in a car accident when she was twelve years old and Kylie was just two years old. She and Kylie was left at her mother's full custody and since she was a full-time house wife and clueless with her father's business, her mother lost all of her father's properties and they lived a hard life.

Her mother worked really hard to raised both of them. She finished college through full scholarship in a prestige university where she met James. No one in her father's family helped them for they dis-owned their father ever since he married her mother who didn't come from a wealthy family.

Just like her when she married James, that kind of discrimination really happens in a world of wealthy families and she experienced it with James' family who never treated her decently and treats her indifferently like she was sort of a plague.

For five years she swallowed her pride, and dignity wholeheartedly and accepted every mistreatment from his family for James' sake, believing on every promises he made, that they will love and cherish each other till eternity comes but then he seemed to forget everything and left her alone just when she needed his protection and love the most.

She used to loved and trusted him but in the end he chose to divorced her and didn't even had the guts to faced her that time like a real coward do and that pained her a lot, feeling rejected and betrayed at the same time.

She continued walking around the mall until a small gold flower shaped earrings with a magnificent amethyst stone in the middle caught her attention from a jewelry store's glass window. She immediately went inside the jewelry store to see it in person when she bump a woman on the door way.

"Ouch! Are you blind?" The woman exclaimed in annoyance.

"I'm really sorry." She instantly replied in a apologetic tone and raised her head to see her face. The woman's frowned face turned into pale when she recognized her as if she saw a ghost back into life. She suddenly grab her hands when she recognized her, her smile grew wider.

"oh my god Chloe is that you?" She said in an overwhelmed tone, the woman was dumbfoundedly stunned there just looking at her face and looked so shocked to see her.
