"Ugly Duckling!!" Ace's loud voice echoed the whole quiet villa calling her downstairs.

She was his personal assistant but she was like a nanny most of the time, he can't live his life without her around.

He was like a total baby who needs some help most of the time. That is why he even brought her with him back to this country even though she refused him for so many times.

But she didn't succeed in refusing the handsome amount of money he offered for this project.

They had just arrived at this country a while ago, and she was feeling a bit tired from their flight.

After putting their luggage in their designated room they've decided to have coffee in the kitchen since Jake was familiar with this villa already, and been there few times before.

He guided her around, familiarizing around the new house they would live in, since they would have to stay there for quite some time, it is for Ace's new project in this place.

She was suddenly startled at the loud sound of his voice that the coffee she was holding almost fell and pour on her simple yellow dress.

I have a name you jerk! she murmured to herself.

"yes! coming!" she answered

She was enjoying a little chit-chat time with Jake, Ace's male assistant and driver, her co-worker and a friend. He just nods his head signaling her to go upstairs.

"Go on, baby boy needs you." He said smiling while teasing her in a low voice avoiding the maids to hear them talking about their boss in such manner.

She rushed upstairs and knocked on the door before entering the room.

"Yes sir?" She asked patiently while aligning her thick eye glasses but lowered her eyes and started staring at the floor as soon as she sees him fresh from the shower bath. She unconsciously swallowed a lump in her throat.

She felt her blood rise up her head, her face felt hot suddenly and her heart started pounding fast after seeing his sexy bare chest and his sculpted six pack abs and V shaped abdomen covered only with a white towel and he was still dripping wet.

And ooh boy! that towel was hanging a little too low on his waist line with his wet and glistening body looking as dominant as ever as if he doesn't care if someone else sees his naked body.

She tried to compose and calm herself and pulled away her indecent thoughts that started clouding her mind. He looked so freaking hot and sexy with his wet messy hair making him more attractive than usual, and only blind would not appreciate that sinfully magnetizing sight.

She suddenly felt nervous that the towel might fell and show his proud glory at any moment. It was the first time she saw him that way and she felt intimidated just by looking at him.

It was indeed the body that attracts and hooked women so easily in his bed and makes them drown in wild fantasies like crazy.

He was indeed a demi-god, standing at six foot tall towering her at 5'7, with a sexy athletic body figure and a mesmerizing facial features specially his green eyes with bright specks of amber and his high demeanor, he was sinfully gorgeous in any way.

No wonder why women threw themselves at him, she thought. But except for her of course. But she'd definitely lie if she say that she didn't find him hot and attractive it's just that she knew where to place herself.

He was totally out of her league and she knew she was out of his league as well, that's why she succesfully concealed her real identity and lasted working for him for almost three years now.

She knew how much of a womanizer and ruthless he was and she was the only woman who could tolerate his tantrums, mood swings and even his bullying towards her.

Because she desperately needed this job to support her mother and her little sister's educational expenses.

Its been five years since she left this country to mend her broken heart and never expect to return again.

"Hey duckling! Stop drooling!" He sarcastically said while grinning as if teasing her. Pulling her out of her train of thoughts.

He was aware that no one can resist his charm, even this ugly duckling.

She just kept quiet, here goes Mr. Big Head again as if he has a narcissistic disorder. She suddenly thought.

"Find me a suit for my dinner date with Alice Shawn tonight." He added when he heard no response from her for his boastfulness, referring to the heiress of Shawn Construction Company one of the largest construction company in the city.

She just quietly obey him.

They went there for business but Ace wouldn't miss a chance to socialize and hooked up with pretty women around the city. She thought while looking on his closet.

He bore his eyes on her back through the open door of the closet room. He was annoyed by the looks of this woman wearing old fashioned clothes.

"So ugly!" He exclaimed just when she turned around after finding a matching suit and tie for him.

"yes, sir?" She ask politely giving him the suit she found acting quite not catching what he had said although she heard him, loud and clear.

She can't afford to offend him no matter what, besides she was immune to his criticism a long time ago.

"Don't you know how to dress up properly? Why do you keep on wearing old fashion clothes?" He said in an annoyed tone.

"You look so ugly! Am i not giving you a proper salary? for you to even buy a new clothes? And can't you even wear eye contacts? That glasses makes you looks like a freak!" He smug her continusly with a frown on his gorgeous face.

She suddenly felt guilty. He was paying her high salary with bonuses but she didn't even bother to buy new clothes, simply because she doesn't want to, her priority was to provide for her mother and Kylie.

She suddenly felt ashamed for she knows what he's pointing out. She just lowered her head to avoid eye contact and just listened to him quietly while he keeps on ranting her about her outfit and her unpleasant looks.

He get a card from his bedside drawer and gave it to her.

"Here take it and buy clothes together with Jake, i want you both presentable for work tomorrow and we will visit my family at night. But now, tell Jake to prepare the car. We'll be leaving at 7pm sharp to Hilford Hotel." He said and then immediately dismissed her.

She walked straight downstairs towards the kitchen where Jake was, to finished her coffee, that became cold already. He was still sitting there waiting for her to return. She handed him the card from Ace, making his eyebrows arched in confusion.

"What's this? holding the card and put it inside his wallet. She told him what Ace exactly said to her.

Jake and her became friends since she started working for Ace, Jake thought her a lot even Ace's likes and dislikes, he was a nice person, and easy to bond with. He was born friendly that is why she loves his company. They were like best friends.

He was working for Ace for almost seven years now. And he was three years older than him, he was already 37 years old and already married with a three year old son.

He was like an older brother to Ace and her. She even told him her past marriage with James Mazon and he was her personal advisor.
