A few days before the meeting, Alessia had unblocked Mathew so that they could correspond with the new contract. She was hesitant for a while, only contacting him through email.

But sometimes she didn't check her email to get an update, which resulted in Mathew being mad and Alessia almost being late for one of their meetings. So, she eventually unblocked him, not before giving him a warning that if he tried that stunt again he'd get blocked permanently this time.

However she really didn't expect Mathew to text her about something so stupid, especially knowing what both him and his mother did. But nothing in the world could prepare Alessia to receive such a message from him, claiming that she was a liar.

She picked up her phone and messaged back, telling the older man to not bug her. She was ordered not to be stressed out because it wasn't ideal for her and the baby, she was trying her best not to be affected by his words.
