Violet's POV

"You didn't tell me that our trip is today," I said to Jason when he came to pick me from work.

I didn't even know he was coming. It was the murmurings and excitement of nurses that I heard and which made me rush to see who it was. Then it turned out to be him. I was surprised and happy to see him at the same time. I haven't seen him for days now and I was quite worried.

I rushed out to go meet him. He spread his arms wide for me to go in. I first looked around surprised that he would do this publicly. Seeing that I hesitated, he pulled me in his arms and we embraced each other tightly.

"Hey baby" he hugged me tightly.

"You didn't tell me you were coming," I said looking up at him.

I was really moved by this act of love. I didn't know what he meant but then I loved it.

" Wanna surprise you" he smiled.

My director didn't even argue when Jason said he was taking me home. I also agreed because my shift was almost over. As we journeyed back home, I wondered why he took it
