...

I was cruel.

This was wickedness.

If it had gotten to the point that I admitted it, it only proves how true it was.

Noah just confessed to being in love with me. He didn't even try to deny my words or, better yet, change the topic... No. He agreed to it.

For a man as proud as him to agree to be in love with a lady... His feelings must have been really deep.

He trusted me, blindly.

I was taking advantage of that trust...but now I was sure why he did.

I said maybe I put a love portion inside...he said I didn't need it.

And I just stood there... Watching him drink what would make him forget me while he just confessed that he was in love with me. If I said I didn't feel anything, that the feeling of guilt was growing inside me, it would be a big lie... But I had no right to feel anything.

So the lie was best.

Layla's POV It's been four days... Five days if I was to count Sunday. The week was running out. It was just a matter of time before I got back what belonged to me. It annoyed me to know that Elena was with my man, making him feel things that he wasn't supposed to feel, not from her. I wasn't a fool... Noah didn't propose to me; he purposed to be Elena. Elena had once told me Noah's preposition to her when they met. Three dates. They were to go on three dates and after that, he was going to judge whether he wanted her in his life or not. Even as much as it was arranged, there was no guarantee Noah would have picked me up if I had left immediately. So, a part of it hurts finding out that your best friend is more you than yourself. But it was going to be over soon. Elena was going to be gone. Yeah, Noah was going to forget her face, forget her- My name, forget the experience too... But one thing I knew for sure was that he was never going to forget the feeling. The way Elen

  • Mr. Reynolds, your wife is an imposter    Chapter 45 Pre-wedding jitters

Noah's POV Every day throughout this week, my desk had been filled with paperwork, paperwork which needed quick attention. I had been to the office yesterday and the day before...but today's work looked even more stressful, and it was. Halfway through the pile, I was already exhausted. What was worse was I couldn't even remember what most of the rest were for. "Boss..." Joshua called knocking on the door. I made a lazy look at the door, sweeping my eyes off it before saying coldly but firmly. "Come in." He pushed the door open and made his way into my office. Standing opposite me, he bowed. "Most of the plans for the rival company and the new product are completed." He began. "What remains are the plans for the new line we recently acquired... "Joshua rattled on, I wasn't really concentrated. He just came back this morning from a business trip he went on for a few days- a trip I apparently sent him for. "Boss..." "Boss..." I snapped my head up, fulling coming out of my thou

Elena's POV If a person was annoyed with you, or if the person heard your soliloquy which you made staring at them, tears dripping and all, especially if that soliloquy was an apology for everything you have done and would still do... The said person wouldn't still kiss you... Right? I blinked as soon as realization dawned on me, pushing Noah away from my lips. "Hey..." I groaned getting up from the bed. Sincerely, that was actually when I noticed that we weren't in my room. "What? Can't I kiss my lovely fiance good morning?" Noah answered with a smirk, his eyes glistening with joy. I didn't have to time fully take in the room's beauty because all I could think about was how long Noah had been awake. "Oh... So you've been awake all this time." I said, feigning an annoyed expression. Noah chuckled, lifting the duvet from the bed. "No. I woke up when I felt something wet on my cheeks." He got up now, still fully naked, by the way. I refused to let my eyes wander, keeping my gaze

Elena's POV He held his words, his hands moved lower... brushing my waist. I flinched at his hot touch as he brought down both my pants and panties in one swoop.I giggled at him urgently, wiggling them off me.When he finally removed the last barrier between us, his eyes locked with mine, asking silently for the green light one last time.He was not rude, or violent like I had known some men to be. Noah actually cared about what I wanted, not what it seemed like I was there to do. I smiled, giving him the answer he required by reaching down to his briefs. I brought out his little guy and held it in my hands. I didn't need to look down before I knew it was huge. Noah shut his eyes when I held it tighter. It felt nice to give him pleasure. I rubbed it over and over again. Noah's moans increased, they became louder and louder until..."Hey..." He called, his voice sounding breathless as he removed my hand from his member just before he came. I sighed, feeling a bit tired and wet

  • Mr. Reynolds, your wife is an imposter    Chapter 41 First day... done

Elena's POV Yeah, my subconscious was right... It was a bad move. We had been in Noah's mansion for about two hours, but I still couldn't get over how I felt when our fingers interlocked. How warm and big his hands felt against mine. "My goodness, Elena, this is not the first time you're holding hands with him!" Something felt different. I felt different. Why was I feeling different? Didn't I just feel weird for Jack a few hours ago? Was I actually right about being in love with two men? Aish! "M...maybe this is just guilt?" I wondered sitting up on the bed. It could be, but when has guilt ever felt this good? Aish! And didn't that driver slash bodyguard of his say that he had OCD? Apart from when we first met that day at the bar, he hadn't really shown his OCD side to me. "I guess you're just that special to him Elena. Yet you're trying to drug him slowly." Isn't that great? I felt like a cloud appeared over my sunny feelings dampening them up. The cloud was called real
