Rosalie walks into my office looking amazing as always. There's a file in her hand as she makes her way to my desk.

"Good morning, sir." She gives me a brief smile before placing the file on my table. "I've compiled a list of eligible people that can take over after I leave."

My brows furrow, "After you leave? What do you mean after you leave?"

"I quit, remember?" She gives me a look.

Of course, I remember! It was the worst day of my life. "Yeah, I remember. I mean, you agreed to give me a second chance so I-

"You thought taking me to dinner and asking for two days every week to do more of that would keep me here as your secretary? So that's what the whole second chance is about?" Rosalie's expression falls and I almost kick myself in the ankle for messing up again. "God, how could I have been so foolish!"
